CFL Micro PC Grow: Auto Berry

I've decided to go with a PC grow just to figure out things and also have my own personal stash.
The first 2 seeds were germinated last night and I added the 3rd one this morning. I am letting them soak in distilled water over night then placing them in a paper towel enclosed over a heat source (very minimal) to keep the towels warm.
Yes, I know! 3 plants is alot for a pc grow, but i figured they're feminised auto's so they should stay short anways and if worst comes to worst I'll move the 3rd one to a seperate grow.
I will do my best to keep this journal updated, so sub's are welcomed!
Enjoy:blsmoke:

When you say pc box, do you mean one of those things disguised as a computer? I'd like to see how that works. Pix please.

ok so it's day 4 and all 3 seeds germinated successfully (fortunately no duds), 2 have begun to sprout above the medium already, you can only see one in this pic.:hump:
Currently the cubes are under a 20watt cfl daylight, I'm using distilled bottle water.
photo.jpgPlan to use fox farm organic soil and transfering these cube into soil within their permanent home soon. Also, I im goign to use fish emulsion troughout whole cycle, any opinion on that other than the smell? Which type of bloom nutes I should use or better yet, what solution concentration am i aiming for, and when to begin nutes on this particualr strain?

If any one has had experience with this strain already please, insight is welcomed.

can we get pics of your case? 3 plants in a pc might be tight, gonna do any training on them?

I forgot to mention in my first post, my day count is from when seeds were soaked in water, so say day 1=seeds soaking.

I plan on using LST and some very good pruning to keep these guys healthy should be a site to see in 4-5 weeks.

Now for the update:
Just added a VERY dilute concentration of nutes, not sure on the exact %. Figured since they were in cubes and not soil yet they werent getting any nutrients. They're under a 5500k 27watt cfl, coudlnt find any 6500k. This is only temporary until the setup is fully complete(another day or two), so im hoping they hang in there for this brief period.:?:
Day 6- Sprouts.jpgVeg Nutes.jpg
Any suggestions, questions or comments are welcome.:peace:

p.s,
happy mohters day to all, enjoy.

about the seed casing, ive had that happen, mist with water well and if you can try very very gently pick it off, it you feel any resistance stop and give it another day

Watup again,
looks like natural selection has taken its course; third seed was showing no prgoress so I trashed her. Anyways it's day 9 and they're in the new home!
Temperature stays around 86.6 farenheit when left closed, since soil has nutes (fox farm) wont be adding any until she looks hungry. Also this is the soltuion i will be using for flowering, any comment s on the nutrient ratio? Not too concerned about the popular name brands this time around but after this grow I will invest in some voodo juice or something. Comment, question or whatever are welcome!

try adding dirt until the surface level is just below the leaves. i had a seedling's stem turn red and fall over one day so i added more dirt to support it and i lightly watered it. then i placed a clear plastic bag over the pot for greenhouse effect and in two days she started looking nice again. i used a bag like one for putting ground beef in the freezer. good luck, i hope this helps

Thanx, i just added sum soil to both plants covering the cubes totally. the unhealthy one i put the dirt until it was under the leaves as you said and the healthier one i just added some more to cover the cube and stem a little.
Curious, shoudl i poke holes in the bag or leave it as is?

dude you should have left the 3rd seed alone for a bit, it could take a couple weeks for a seed to pop. you might have thrown away your best plant.....

also you should find your self a descent old used fridge and transfer the lights and fans into it. I think you will find the pc box is only good for starting a plant.

1) all you need to do is take a hammer and smash every thing out from the inside til you are left with a white shell inside.
2) take fridge to car wash and spray it out.
3) bring it home and wash with bleach and water.
4) cut a hole with a jig saw near the bottom for your fresh air intake and screw a computer fan to the backso it blows in.
5) cut another fan hole near the top and install faN to blow out. this removes heat from the lights.
6) buy a roll of mylar insulation and some refective tape.
7) cover floor, walls, doors and ceiling with mylar.
8) cut holes in mylar infront of fans.
9) install light baR to ceiling.
10) last plug lights and fans into a timer and grow some trees.

i will post a picture of my set up and i think you will agree it is way cooler than anything you can find on www.pcgrowcase.com

Ye you're right maybe i did, but i dont have the time nor space, 2 plants will suffice for now.
I'm just growing for personal at the time.

One thing that i can agree on is I can't disagree about the advantages of building my own. Unfortunately I have certain "restrictions" requiring me to to stay to this type of set-up for now, thats y I chose this strain. I dont think i will be ordering from marijuan-seeds.nl anymore though, attitude looks like they've got a better selection of auto-fems. I will keep you {newboxgrower} and others posted on the progress of the plant. Appreciate the help and I will defiantely keep these blueprints for later use;).

here are the update pix

Anybody got a link or advice how to build a light trap? :?:
doesnt have to be the most advanced design just something that will work...

Also I must ask, please try and read my post before posting questions, so i dont end up with repetitive questions that have been answered or the answer have been stated with detail in a previous update. either way i do appreciate the them and will resoind to them all to thte best of my abilities. I understand once the thread gets too long, but right now its short.

as for the little one,
thanx to a good friend with some advice, she seems to be showing progress, still smaller than the other one so im deducting that it will take longer to mature to finish. The humidty in the dome is high and the temps in the grow room rose to around the high 80's low 90's last night, but i fixed the problem so hopefully they'll stay around 78-86. I plan on using co2 enrichment as well throughout the budding process, any suggestion on how often i should do this? i plan on using simple biologloy 101; sugar, yeast, water etc ya knoe.
ALso any suggestionon my use of fish emulsion. I plan to start adding it to their water within the next week, just to let them get their roots established and comfortable. What are the benfits of using this and has anyone used it before, if so how was your results different from not using it
(fish guano).
{im on a 24/0 light cycle}
i will update with more pics soon
stay posted!:eyesmoke:

ok, back again.
After some researching, a little inginuity and 3 sheets of glass (trial and error) lol. I added a modification to my grow box, check it out what you think?

Heat Guard.jpg
I left about an inch or more of air space between the wall closest to the picture and the glass for full circulation. Temps seem to be staying down, im not closing the box right now because im letting the agents dry and cure and I dont want any build up in the atmosphere and kill the plants.

purpose was to enclose the lights in the top to recreate an enclosed fixture so the heat is directly sucked out.
