Bad stretching question

So i started some beans with less than adaquate light and they stretched really bad on me. I dont have pictures right now but im sure u all know what im talking about. So my question is would it be a smart idea to remove the stretched stem and treat the top of the plant as a cutting and put some clonex gel on it? I got my new clf's installed but am worried about the elongated stems. Any suggestions would help.:joint:

I stretch mine on purpose when making seeds. grow yours out and see what happens, topping it now will just delay harvest.
Im not worried about delaying the harvest since these girls will be going outside in may. You still think i should wait it out and see how it goes?
