I just did not understand what it had to do with Jesse the body...by your explanation of the methane, I think you know the answers...the planet is warming and biomes are shifting north...the increase in atmospheric CO2 is acidifying the oceans and dissolving calcareous exoskeletons of planktonic diatoms.
Although the Al Gore faction of the climate change issue undoubtedly has money motivating the hubbub, and likely includes exaggerations and possibly even cited poorly developed experimental data...and the reason for the planet warming may be natural and may be Anthropomorphic...or maybe a bit complicated.
What I believe is happening with the new "Global Warming (always a misnomer) is a Hoax" is an orchestrated disinformation campaign. I believe the leaked emails are as much bullshit as Yemeni printer bombs and bagless, coatless underwear bombers flying to Detroit.
Much like the creationist crowd, physicists are quoted...half of physics is untestable speculation...freaking voodoo. The planet is undisputably in a warming period. The cause of which is debatable (i suppose) But to pretend that the continued Industrial revolution and Massive deforestation is not a factor in the equation is absolutely absurd.

if i have learned anything about getting into this debate, it is that the causes and consequences are more complex and debatable than i imagined.
another thing i think we both agree on is that whether it is a hoax or bad science or actually real, what we should be doing is about the same: converting to sustainable energies and weening off our dependence on foreign oil. i would love an affordable battery cell that stored solar power so i could power my house from the sun even when it is cloudy. they are r&d'ing these right now, which i am thankful for.

How can you believe in this new world order but also believe that media and internet isn't controlled? You cannot google the truth, that's all controlled. Unless you are on the inside, you are only reading/seeing what they want you to.
