Pro-mix BALE 3,8 cu ft how many plants

im trying to figure out how many bales of pro-mix to buy,,, i have 20 plants so im thinking 2x 3.8 cu ft bales would be sufficient is 10 plants per bale a safe estimate or overkill?

im on a tight budget so im looking for minimal costs

i use about 1 bale for 3 plants. they grow good also adding castings and compost.
