I was wondering if it is possible/worth while to set up a ScrOG in a small closet grow space probably about 2.5x2.5 feet?? Any info input welcome thanks

yes you can use a scrog net in this size...obviously your net size is limited to the size of the closet. with a small net like this you will need the elevation of the net real close to the plant when young. the higher the net the more time it will take for plant to reach the net. with a net of this size you are aiming for a short veg period. fill half of that net up and then switch to 12/12 the other half will fill up during flower. i think for this size closet a scrog net will be better than a traditional grow.

Alright thanks guys yeah its about 5 1/2 feet tall and 2.5x2.5 roughly.. I mean obviously there is more to it than just a net above plants right? And do I put multiple plants when using ScrOG method? Thanks all

3 plants would be a good start. Try something branchy like WW or Purple kush. Your gonna want to veg for at least a month, depending on the scrog height. You have to fim or top so they dont get to tall. Why dont you do a sog with 20 plants

To be honest I'm new and have done research just not as much on advanced cultivation method like ScrOG or SOG so I'm not exactly sure on difference.

ScrOG is mainly for alot of small plants that harvest alot as a whole but not much as each plant, compared to "normal" method having a few plants and getting alot each plant
Id go with 15-25 plants with your setup, what lighting are you using?

just a 150 watt HPS at the moment on 1 plant normally but obviously I would up to at least 400watt before attempting ScrOG or SOG setup

SCROG = screen of green SOG= sea of green, when you do a sea of green to train plants from young age to only grow one top cola bud, that is what i am doing with paradise ice cream seed, good strain to SOG, SOG is for more plants smaller area to work with, its very easy
todo not much stress. with SCROG you will need more space, you will wait to train branchs outward to allow as much light to penatrate the branch, wich causes a screen of green effect, the screen begins to get filled with bud. You must take into consideraton that space with
SCROG is the biggest enemy, you need to know you plants to know how big they will get, you still will need even air flow and in a small closest might be hard to get. Also good thing to keep in mind is making sure you have females, you dont want males all going through the screen and producing seeds, its a big mess to chop them down and get them outa there. Just some ideas to keep in mind.
If i was you, i really would look into SOGing your plants bro way easy and will have more plants more yeild same space, just my imput.

In my opinion there is alot of mis-information in some of these reply's. SCROG is a great method for any size space and is the best yeilding method going. I have seen single plant SCROGs that are 18"x18" that have produced 6 ounces. An experienced scrogger expects to get 2 oz. per square foot of screen and you need minimal height to successfully scrog and far fewer plants which means less work and cost.

i would disagree 100% i can get 6 ozs from 3 SOg plants in a WAY WAY smaller area plunty of proof in my pics if you would like to see how but i think i would be wasting my time. Very soon will be harvesting 12 to 16ozs every two weeks SOGing like to see that with a SCROG setup in a SMALL area! Lots of missleading posts out there, its more like person preference to be honest. everyone has there way good luck to whatever you decide Smokin206
