I need to see what you pull off that 3D I just hatvested some and it was very very lanky and very low yielding. POSTED Haze2
Stick around for updates, I love posting pictures and answering questions. How was the yield you got? Was it decent dope? Keep in mind I am growing outdoors.

Nice, neat operation mrgreenlungz. I'll be following your grow with a bit of interest because I'm thinking about planting my one (1) fem Kandy Kush. I'm mostly into autos, but when I got involved in growing last year I purchased several non-autos from Attitude - one of which was the Kandy Kush. I'm hoping with a combo of topping and LST'ing I may have a chance of keeping it under 4 feet.

Best of luck this season.
Thanks and welcome, to be honest, this grow almost didn't happen due to a wide variety of reasons. I am excited I got to put this all together. Under 4 feet, man I'm hoping for a 20 ft monster plant :joint: what kind of lightning setup? Told you guys I'm OCD

I topped and LST'ed the fawk out of a kandy kush - about 24" on 12/12 about 5 weeks old, hope it is fem, just axed a male mango x afghan :(
If you have a GJ, I'll check it out. Best of luck. with your grow.

Well, I hope you end up with a monster. My light setup is the Sun. Here's a pic from last year. I grow on my balcony - Which is why I switched to Auto's and hence the need to keep a non-Auto under 4 feet. Cheers!

Nice and bushy, what strain was the one on the left in the clay pot? How much dried and cured did you get? Lat year each outdoor gave over a lb each on average. Hoping for all 3 fem Kandy Kushes to do that and even if I get 2 out of the 8 free seeds as fem, I will be happy. Don't know much about auto's but I can see your need to keep them a manageable size.

The one on the left was the only pot plant there (plastic 3 gallon). The others were big ass tomato plants used primarily for stealth reasons :) It was bagseed, my first ever grow. It was riddled with budworms at the end, and I chopped it early. No idea what the weight was as I don't weigh my stuff. It still produced a lot, 99% of which has been given away to my friends as they need it. Still have some left. The journal for that grow is my bottom signature link. Go to the end of the journal and you can see how much I ended up with.

Damn, over a pound on each plant? I'm gonna go browse thru your previous journals now.

Edit: Here's a pic of the bud from that plant. 3 normal sized mason jars and 2 larger ones full. Fluffy, not very dense buds but it gets the job done.

All those from one auto flower... Not too shabby. 09 harvest was for sure a good one. Hopefully, I'll have decent results this year :) if only the fucking weather would warm up, I fucking hate the cold.

This is my 1st journal. Here are some pics of the outdoor harvest last year

And finally... some jackass here said it didn't look dank, considering this picture was taken before harvest I'll let you be the judge. Too bad RIU won't let me post the full pic.

One more of same cola closer.
Subscribed man, i really like that lil chamber you made for the seedlings, +REP
When I decided to make a seedling chamber, I was worried I would fuck it up  I am about as handy as a 4 year old when it comes to building shit, it was simple though. My friends had to give me some pointers so I wouldn't saw my hand off with the fucking doorknob punch. I'd be lost without my friends and welcome along sir :joint: thank you for the advice. I'll keep you posted.

Heh, just to clarify: As much as I'd like to plant and harvest a 4 foot plant in 70 days, the 4 footer on my balcony was a random bagseed, not an autoflower.

BTW, I checked your link and don't see any of your grow journals?

I've never grown an autoflower. Is 70 about what they take to bud? And yeah, this is my only grow journal. I should have taken more pics from last year, I have some more of me in the garden but obviously that's not great idea :) we had brown bags fucking full of trim, and even more bags full of weed. This time I am starting with prime genetics. When to you start your LST training? From what I've seen, it starts pretty young. and continues their whole life cycle. It's pretty fucking crazy. The 1st time I ever saw 4 decent colas coming from a cfl in a party cup, I was almost shocked.

Sorry everyone, we misplaced the charger for the cybershot, pics up soon. The babies are doing well and we have been busier than Monica Lewinski at a presidential fund raiser trying to get the outdoor grow area together. Still have some hauling to do but as soon as we are up, I will flood this thread with pics :weed:

Sorry it has taken this long to post an update. We have been fucking crazy putting the outdoor garden together and my room mate's camera charger got lost (ironically he's the one who's not a stoner) and the new one just came in.

Lucky for you, I wrote down everything I did up until now.

I backfilled the cups pertty much all the way to the top and gave them their 1st dose of nutes. 1.5 ML/GAL ea of Dyna-Gro's Pro-Tekt (specs here http://agr.wa.gov/Pestfert/Fertilizers/FertDB/prodinfo.aspx?pname=286 and Mag-Pro http://agr.wa.gov/Pestfert/Fertilizers/FertDB/prodinfo.aspx?pname=287. after my surgery, I was left with tons of 10 ML syringes (no needle) and I use them to measure. I always take a separate cup and syringe for each nute and mix them with about 1/2 C of water then I add one to a gallon of water and shake and repeat. (Again, I am OCD)

Added 2.5 ML/GAL EA Pro-Tekt, Mag Pro and Foliage Pro. I have decided to do some fimming also. The current pics will show you my progress (?) with the fimming experiment.

Time to transplant my babies outside. I transplanted late at night to reduce stress. Drilled 1/4 in drain holes in 5 gallon buckets, cut small slits into 7 gallon trash bags and lined the buckets with them. I did this because I'm not sure if the buckets are the ladies final container. When sex is determined on the on fem seeds, I will likely either transplant into 10 gallon totes (the ones with the rope handles) or straight into 3 ft of good soil (prob stick with the FF mix). I transplanted all but 1 (the place I get my soil from was closed). I hate to say that it happened but when I was transplanting one, I had a muscle spasm that almost put me on the concrete and I lost 1/2 of a root ball.the bottom 1/2 was still sitting in the cup. Luckily it wasn't a fem seed. I think you will like her (knock on wood) recovery.

Instead of distilled, I took 4 5-gallon buckets and filled with tap and let sit overnight. They each got 1/2 gallon with 2.5 ML/GAL of the Pro-Tekt and sprayed with neem/safers in a spray bottle. The poor baby missing 1/2 her roots got 1/2 gallon with 2.5 ML/GAL of the Mag-Pro to stimulate root growth.

The one I didn't transplant got what was left in the watering can, knowing I had to transplant soon, I wasn't worried.
