Flushing my plants

You should flush your plants as part of your watering schedule. Based on my experience, one flush once every three weeks - use 3x the volume of your growing container. Discard the runoff, although you can do things like check the pH of it to evaluate the soil conditions.

"Signs" you need to flush are indicative you have waited too long. You'll get pH fluctuations because of salts, which will lock out nutes. You might see signs of under-fertilization, fan leaves turning lighter, and patches of your plant turn unexplainably a lighter color than the rest of the plant.

Can anyone tell me what signs i look for to start flushing my plants
If your going to flush the plants because you read that flushing is benificial to taste and or quality dont waste your time.

The act of flushing is not based on any of the principals of botany nor has it ever been proven to enhance taste or quality in proper blind tests.

All you will accomplish with flushing is to slow bud production to a crawl from starving the plants.

Ive been there & done that with absolutely zero benifit to taste or quality when comparing flushed vs heavily fed non flushed plants in blind tests with multiple blind test subjects.

I feed my girls right up until harvest but i personally like my girls to be big fatties, the added feeding goes a alon way in finish bud weight.

I was not aware that flushing can impact bud production so much.
