after reading about that and the busts that were made because peoples car tag # were ran and the cops investagated them and found their grow.

i have been going to my local hydro store for a while but now i need other locall places to get my stuff....

pH down where else can i get it besides the net. i dont want to order off the net!

like homedepot? lowes? i donno but im sketched out lol

i have a clean record nothing on it besides speeding tickets
should i be worried?

it would help alot if you guys could clear this up for me.

in the USA, without prior, probable cause, the information they obtain while "staked out" in the parking lot of a hydro store is not information that can be used to get a warrant....


If a police officer saw you walk out with 20 HPS lights, ballasts, nutes, planters etc.... They can do NOTHING with that information....

With that said, most cops don't know the laws, so it;s possible that an officer will break protocol and knock on your door...however, any good lawyer will tear apart that case... Issue is, you will have to spend money to defend it...

They are not wasting money sitting at the grow shop. If so then have a friend go pick it up for you.

lol, you could just buy peat moss and dolomite and some myco dude for like a quarter of the price. shoot me now, cuz I am the laziest hydro grower around. I just hooked a real hose up to my bathroom faucet so I would not have to cart water or use an ro filter ever again to the next room! Anyway that must be fun to buy a full pallet of all the pro mix already mixed. I always wanted a pallet of ocean forest but I switched to a hydro and remain by choice very small medical grower. I was soil for a while tho and I made super soil with pro mix or sunshine. Worked great.

Cops do go to hydro stores. Just travel around far from home. Like you had no choice. Rove around like you are lost. Stop for food. Go shopping. Shot like that. Use a freinds car.


I went with this girl and we are legal but we got so lost and made so many pit stops for food and missed exits that if a cop were tailing us he would not have kept it. Her car is someone elses and she is between houses and from another city. So lol I am clean.

I dont trip on ph down or anything. You would not beleive the amount of regualr growers are out there. The entire industry does not exist for pt growers.


I say forget about it! Unless you get off on the spy vs spy aspect for a minute. Lol. JK. Just grow. Move to CA tho. :)

what's clearly happening here is a new grower getting paranoid.... it happens to just about everyone...


regarding the cops doing that or not... You have to realize that most states are bankrupt...they do not have the budget or the man power to chase shit like that...

I used to get paranoid about stuff like that all the time. I still get the odd bout of paranoia when I'm away on business. I imagine coming back to a house surrounded by police tape. Paranoia can be your best friend if you listen and learn. I'm always on the look out for a tail (and tail :P) or new police type vehicles parked near the hydro shop but as people have been saying, there are not enough resources for that shit. The police usually concentrate on theft, gangs, violent crime and hard drugs. As far as pot goes, they care more about dealers than people with small home setups for personal use. Don't tell anyone about your setup and you should be fine. Most people get busted from anonymous calls to the police from people they know that find out one way or another.

No hydro shops here. I live in a rural area. They don't even have flyovers here because most of the people that live in this 1100 acre development are either old as shit or part time. Lots of woods around and between houses. Might try to do a couple of plants outside too. Still....I haven't even started my first grow and I'm kinda worried. It's only going to be like 2 or 3 plants!

Information found when doing "flyovers", while using thermal scans is not enough to get a warrant as well...because anyone can have a grow light (s) and be growing a myriad of things in their home....again, all circumstantial...nothing concrete. If the flyover was on PUBLIC land...that's a different story...

They have the hydro shop well rigged were i live, they keep a cctv camera permantly on it, since they installed the cctv camera the stores been empty,which i am guessin has been great business for the store out of town.
