When Do You Start Counting Days?

When do you start counting how old your plants are? Do you start day 1 from the day the seedling opens up first set of leafs or maybe from the day you see the main stem come up??

From the day I plant the seeds. You could also count from when they crack open, but using the age of a plant to determine when to do anything is a bad idea. Plants have no concept of time, they just grow until they're ready. When you see somebody say that you should do something X weeks in, that's just a rough estimate and is usually strain specific. You have to play a lot of it by ear.

Ok, good info. Thanks. So my babies are roughly a week old.
