Order of success.... H.I.D. (HPS, MH) High Output T5'S, CFL's. T8's and T12's are pretty much wotrthless.
Yeah T12 is gooin the the garage

id go CFLs way before T5's you can just get better positioning with them and more light usage if you work hard at it.
T5 HOs just cost out the wang wang, I wouldnt bother buying a T5 setup when you can get HPS at comparable pricing if not cheaper or close to the same, but the output well there is no close there.

Tubes are really a waste of time
it will also increase your flowering time as well.

I love T5's for veg they cover more area than CFL's too. I'm upgrading my veg area soon by adding and 8-tube 4ft T5 light. They also put off almost no heat, so each light has it's place in my garden. :peace:

Yeah you get a broad cover with the tubs just it wont cut it when it comes time for budding, you can place CFLs justa bout everywhere
