I have been looking around to learn more about Hillary's comments on the gender issue, and mostly she just promises to stay tough, while her acolytes claim that "gender is only an issue if you make it one "
Well kids, you or I may not think it is an issue, but those wacky folks on the other side of the planet DO make it an issue. These are religious nations who believe that a woman's place is in the home, and any open discussion with a female is like a black mark upon their souls. I'm not saying it's right, it is just something that is of vital importance if she becomes the leader of this country. She will, in many instances, need to have a man serve as a go between in certain instances. These Arab leaders simply WILL NOT talk to her, president or no.
I'm not saying that this should exclude a woman from ever becoming president. Still, if Hillary is being all "tough", then spill out your plan of action about how to deal with male-centric cultures, and not just brush off the question as being one of chauvinism.
