I'm bored and went looking on ebay for hydroponic systems and came across this cheap one.

And me not anything about hydroponics would this be a good system?

Is there a Lowes near you? They make a superbox tote that blows all of those away.

The online tote systems are made from 3$ flimsy totes.

If you want me to, Ill post a parts list so you can make your own.

You need:

4 feet of 1/2 inch poly tubing. $3.16
1 1/2" T-Fitting $1.00
Trickle sticks 24" emitters .79$ each (2 per pot)
2 - 1/2 inch ends and caps for poly tubing. 1$ each

All of the above can be ordered here:
http://www.hydrolights.net/hydrophonics.html

Besides that you need a water pump, preferable 80 GPH or better.
Aquarium airpump and airstone. 12$

Superbox tote - 17$

That is it

you will need to drill holes for net pots! Just buy the net pots off ebay. The deeper the box you use the better. Use whatever for the medium in the netpots. I have used recycled tire mulch from home depot and hydroton, and rocks. Hydroton is best imho. :) DWC is cake and the best.

sh (until you realise organic soil is the best) lol, I am organic soil now for my reasons. have fun dude.

dude , i have 2 words to answer your question

" build one",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, building a DWC or bubble-bucket is the easiest , cheapest and one of the funner ways of gowing M,juana

all you need is 4 items
1) 5gal bucket , or any type of reservoir , a tote is a good reservoir for SOG grows,,,,10$

2) styrofoam board (2-3" thick) cut 2" shorter than reservoir on width and lenght, this will be the tray that holds your net pots that the plants will be in, you can find this at any hardware store ,,,,,8$

3) airpump and airstone(available at any pet supply store) both for under 15$

4) nutrients this is where everybody gets different and picky of witch brand name to buy,, i would recommend one to do his/her homework before chosing a brand or more importantly a NPK ratio, if your a beginner, then i would go with a 1 part nutrient where everything is mixed for you in the bottle instead of having 3 bottles to mix yourself.. usualy go for minimum 20$ and maximum 35$

shit that was long! lol im f@ckin baked,,,,

anyways man look it up on google or something its worth it!
