switching from veg to bud

my veg time was 18-6 lights on at 5 p.m. lights out at 11 a.m. now that im switching to 12-12 what should me schedual be. In other words what needs to stay the same to not stress the plant out. lights out or lights on or could i change them both by 3 hours???

Start @ 5PM ON AS ALWAYS....12HRS LATER OFF

damn i thought it would be! but my first grow i had the light come on at 7 at night and go off at 1. because those were the hours i was at work when it was off! but when i switch to flowering i put it on at 12 pm and off at 12 am! so that last day i didnt even have a night cycle! and it worked out! it was definatly the best shit i ever smoked! well my first plant was! the second was weak but had a stupid yeild on it! but i think i chopped like 2 weeks to early!

lol..it depends on what time i start the lights at..sometimes i leave them on at the same time and turn it off ealier..or i just go 24 hours darkness or more obviously and start it at the time i want

I dont think it really matters too much.

what I do is,,,
On the last day of Veg, When the timer shuts the lights off, I re-set the timer so it doesnt turn the lights back on until the time i re-set it to. Sometimes leaving the plants in complete darkness for about 14 hours or more, Depending on when I want to start the 12-12 light schedule.

Example: In Veg I had the lights on from 10am - 4am,,,
When i switched to flowering, my lights are on 6pm-6am,,,
So the first day i switched over to flowering, the plants were in darkness for 14 hours.

Some people even leave their plants in complete darkness for 24 hours on the first day of switching to flowering.
Its said that doing that jump starts your plants into the flowering cycle.:leaf:

thanks fellas this is what i ended up doing the last day of veg let everything un normale then at lights switched the bulbs and let the plant have 12 hourse of darkness so now there runing 11 to 11
