stems are peeling? is this a problem?

hi RIU

my plants look perfectly fine but the stems seem to be shedding brown skin or smth? the stem below that is perfectly green and looks healthy but the stem seems to be shedding "skin"

is this normal?

sorry for the lack of pictures, the camera phone cant take pictures that closely

That happens every to every plant (I think) it's happens to all my plants when they're young. It's nothing to be worried about, it's just the stem growing underneath stretching and cracking the outer (harder) layers.

its norm mate, the stem goes from juicy green to hard brown. I pick my skins off when they are ready!
