Need help with lights :o

Ok so im going oh holiday tonight and for obvious reasons i cant take my plant with me! i do have a timer but its shit and doesent work! i origionally thought to just soak the soil and leave the light on for a week, but then thought ill make a post here and see what you guys think, i was going to give it to a mate but hes got a house inspection by his landlord this week so he cant take them now! FLAIL!!!! so any sugestions? light on? light off? will it survive?
any advice would be greatley appreciated! thanks.

can you get a working timer before you go? How long are you gone for? if vegging 24hr light is ok, if you flowering you have to have a timer so you can go 12/12.

add perlite to the soil to help it retain moisture while you're gone, but if you're gone a loooong time you'll have to have someone water them or make a watering sytem, wick, drip, something like that

im gone for a week, and they are still seedlings with 4 leaves, 2 big 2 small, about 2 and a half inches tall.

you're in luck, its pretty easy to leave them when they're young. water thoroughly just before you leave. place an upside down clear plastic cup over each seedling to hold in the moisture. keep the lights on, you should be ok.

Got back yesterday, Plants grew awsomley apart from one of them getting to big for the pot but i replanted it now thanks again guys!

oh and btw i did realise about the white bits on the bottom leaves but im guessing that was because i soaked them beofre i left and the plamt got to beg for the pot, since then i have replanted and the leaves have gotten less whiter
