2 lights would do it i think u gonna struggle to vent it fast enough in such a small space with 3 or 4 600 watt hps lights man are they adjustable power wise or?
I've always heard it was bad to dim HID bulbs. Supposedly it changes the spectrum and is harder on the bulb.

interesting, if that’s the case. What would you recommend putting in there? For the most even coverage for 14 plants/watts. Could be open to LED options too.. could you recommend a HID option that would be best then LED 2mx2mx2m area.
If you want the most even coverage I’d recommend bar style leds. I’m preferring quantum boards because I can keep them high and more room at light level for fans. But for more even ppfd my bar light nails it.

You can try a diy it can get a lot cheaper and its not that hard to make.some new leds can produce 3g/w now

I'm thinking heat stress will cause some foxtailing.
I had a Gelato out in the garage in early summer, the temps were in the 28 to 30 range. It was still foxtailing when I chopped it at 13 weeks of flower.

Unless you have a compelling need for heat instead of light, an LED fixture would be a far better choice than an HPS light.
Technology marches on.

Can you post a photo of bar LED? I know next to nothing about them. Also, what watt of the equivalent would I need in that size tent to be sufficient?

I can’t seem to find an LED that will cover 2mx2m.. all they seem to cover is 1.5m max… do you think I’ll need something else alongside this?
There’s many bar style leds. I’d say you’re shooting for 1600watt to max out your tent. So 2 800’s. I’ve run (aglex) Chinese bars and hlg qb’s. Both great and I don’t really see much difference.

1 thing Ida wished was using a parabolic reflector with a 600w hps way sooner it defo upped my yield
But the weed under the smallishish reflector was quality sht
Always seemed the best weed grew directly under the reflector
