You can use femmed seeds to make mama plants & clone them of course it’s just that fems can be more prone to herm out than regular plants. Plus if you made the cross yourself and have a shit-ton of seeds you can potentially find that super special phenotype in the bunch and select her as “mother superior.” I have cloned both reg and fems side by side. As long as the genetics of your femmed strain is relatively stable herms are not a thing to worry about much. Sometimes they can surprise you though; I have found many femmed clones that start poppin bananas by week 9. So you just pinch em off before they open. Not a big deal usually. Finding a selfed seed or two in your buds is not a bad thing; it will be a girl but just be aware the hermaphrodite trait is now baked in. Just watch out for boy flowers late in bloom phase…Why do reg seeds make superior mothers? We are just starting to play with breeding.
The only hermie I've ever had was from a regular seed. Nanners are usually stress related. I think an unstable polyhybrid would be to blame, not the type of seed. You can use femmed seeds to make mama plants & clone them of course it’s just that fems can be more prone to herm out than regular plants.
