80% of gun related deaths in Canada are suicides. USA only doubles our rate and were not supposed to carry guns. Don't think the state's are doing that bad. If information l read is correct. Didn't search out too deeply.

thanks for the vote of confidence, but we ARE doing that bad...we have more school shooting in a year than the whole rest of the planet has in a decade. we have more mass shootings in a year than the rest of the world has in 5 years...
we've had 2052 school shootings in the US since 1970. there were 208 in the US between 2009 and 2018, while the rest of the world had 29 during the same period...since 2009 there have been 279 mass shooting in America, which killed 1576 people, and wounded 2046 people..June 1, 2022 – Mass shootings in the US account for 73% of all 139 incidents occurring in developed countries between 1998 to 2019. During this time, 62% of all 1,318 fatalities from the attacks also happened in the states.

In my opinion, the law enforcement exemption needs to go. Cops here may own all the tasty tactical crappadocia. It must be reinforced imo that civilians means all civilians, excepting FBI. Any SWAT team must be Federal, not beholden to city or state.
