Life rarely goes the way you've intended; this is true of everyone no matter their station.
Actually, my life has pretty much gone as planned.
I was ejected from my home when I was 20 because I dropped out of college, but that actually was a blessing.
No more listening to you have to do this or that to be successful, or you are going to be a failure.
Maybe in the eyes of some, that expected me to follow that road, a very well-worn path to servitude, but it was not for me.
I wanted to expand, learning everything out there that I had never done.
And that I did
Yup, I traveled all over, learned how to cook, was a carpenter, a waiter, ran a deli, learned plumbing/electrical which I did for 35 years (my main source of income, that and selling herb,)
I learned welding to make art & painting for the same reason.
I climbed mountains and learned to hunt
I've raised sheep & had at one point had over 50 sheep (started with six Yoe's (female) & one ram. (male) & I can shear like a motherfucker
And I've grown a ton of herb, literally
And smoked almost as much
Yea, I really did all I wanted to do.
I think I'll be smiling & content when it's time to move on.
That's enough for me
