Anybody ever use Rain Rings?

If I did anything right now, the AIrROS would go nuts trying to stomp out the VOC's from the pipe glue, silicone, new tubing, etc. That thing is super sensitive. Normal operating range is 30 parts per billion... with a B. On the very.. and I mean very rare occasion that a woman comes in that room, the display will go from 30 PPB to 0. It's trying to eat up all the perfume, hair product, laundry detergent, etc. I have a dedicated set of clothes that I work in out there, and use very little detergent when I do wash them. No cologne, or anything else with strong VOC's. But on the plus side, a fart is non detectable..
I like your setup, you’ve got real quality stuff going on!

Im kinda getting tired of hand feeding 24-36 plants every day. I have a tank with recirc, and feed with a shower head wand. My thought was to place 90 of these in my room (30 on each tray) and set up a PVC pipe longways down the middle and about 6 inches above the pots. Drill nipple fittings into the PVC, and run 1/4 hose to each Rain Ring with a 90 degree shut off valve on each one. When those 24 or 43, or 16 need feed, I can just turn on the pump, and open the valves to the ones that need feed. This might save on wasting nutes because we do get a shit ton of runoff, and this would slow the feeding down quite a bit I would think.. Anybody?

I use them and found they muck up easily when running nutrients through. Took an ice pick and punched each hole to open them up a bit more. Kinda a bitch with the #s your talking. I basically only use them when away now, water only.. maybe if you can run a quick bump of fresh after each feed? Sounds like you've got plenty of time to strategize. Hope it goes well :joint:

Pressure compensating drip emitters make sure the flow is equal on all your outlet points, assuming you use the same brand & model on each outlet point. I may try adding these rings AFTER the drip emitter. Currently mine outlet a small stream, would be nice to spread it out and reduce runoff.

Setup kinda like this....View attachment 5080750

I have 3, 20 ft long trays, and I already have almost everything else like trellis, frame, I could just run that 1 in PVC right down the middle of each tray. IDK... just working this out in my head.
I've only a small home made set up using a pump, minifold and tubing but the same applies to bigger.

The plants closest the supply will get more I'd put the supply into the middle to minimise the difference, possibly split the supply depending on result?

Is it going to be recirculating not dtw?

I use these and it made my life much more simple

I use the whole system and run the FM20

man, wish I knew about these before I got the floraflex round caps. I like the floracaps but it is impossible to get them on plants once stem gets any girth.

Yeah, I was assuming they would be somewhat flexible since they call themselves floraFLEX. But no, they are rigid as fuck and cant fit on anything larger than a teen.
You would think they could make a two piece. That clicks together around the stock.

I've been kicking around a design for this very thing for several months. They're not gonna sell many of these at that price.
