I am in the very South West of the UK. Luckily it is very mild here, the weather is in the mid teens at the moment. My temps and rh are good. If it gets too cold, it seldom goes much below 5C here, I shut down the external vents and vent via the house too.
I am looking at using a Sonoff Zigbee to control my new RVK fans in conjunction with a greenhouse heater.

Then yes you can close the window to the outside if you are removing the exhaust air away from the grow area.
this way your tent will intake the ambient room air at whatever temperature the room is.
For example if your room has a radiator controlled by your central heating you can adjust the thermostat on the radiator to be able to heat the room should you need it.

I use an 80w tubular heater in my room that’s timed to come on when lights go off and it’s just below my canopy circulation fan with another fan blowing up through the canopy.

That is the type of thing I am going for, they are cheap as chips. I want to use a Sonoff Zigbee hub so I can control the fans/heater based on humidity/temperature. They will switch on and off based on sensor readings.

Mine is just on a basic 15m segmental timer.
switches on at lights out and off at lights on.
couple with that blocking the external intakes and the rooms Is a lovey 25C ambient with the FCE3000 panel.

Don’t get me wrong though I have a dehuey and humidifier should I need them.
the humidifier I’ve got is the RAM 8L cool mist ultrasonic humidifier so is even great in the summer to help cool a little if I need it.
my dehuey sits in my walk way/drying area to keep that area controlled which allows some of the air in this area to be taken into the room when the external intakes are open.
when they are closed during winter it helps to keep temps up as the intakes are closed and the walk way etc acts as my lung room then.

I can't abide segment timers, they are so prone to being wildly inaccurate. Since I have gone to LEDs my lights are controlled by Sonoff Basic WIFI switches and a simple Google Assistant routine.
I grow in a loft space which so far has been easy to keep warm enough as it never gets that cold here, we might get a frost once or twice a winter and it never snows. For example this week Birmingham and London will see night time temps get as low as 5c, my predicted lowest is 11c. It is so mild here I can grow Daffodils in December, in the Garden. The only time I have been caught out is last January when the forecast got it wrong and we went from 10C to -11c overnight that massive swing didn't kill anything but it fucked it all up a bit.
So far as long as I can keep the temperature under control the humidity seems to sort itself, more luck than judgement. So I figure that if I can have a system that switches between the exhaust fan and a heater based on actual readings I'll be golden.
There is a vented tile in my roof that has a 150mm extractor fan tube on it, it is supposed be connected to the bathroom extractor. It is infact connected to the intake on my flowering tent, and I use it for fresh air in the summer. In the winter I connect it to the vent from the bathroom.

clones? yes. Monitor night time RH% for spikes. lights off always means humidity will rise, but probably not a ton if all you have is clones. the bigger they get and the bigger your container the bigger the lights-off RH% rise. I cant turn off the exhaust on either of my tents or they will spike over 80% within an hour or 2

my area is a walk in closet in the master bedroom which is also then behind an entire stud wall with a small 4ftx2ft doorway behind a book case lol the Walk way is actually 3ft x10ft x8ft gives me an area for drying, storage and able to work in this area too.
where you can see a door frame in wood on my picture is a door frame with a door in it.
this closes to make complete darkness in the walk in even if I have lights on in the walk way (that reminds me I need to fit lights in the walk way lol)

the ac infinity fans are great for the problems your having. after programmed they only run when it needs to. also saves on power bill. then during flower i run it at half speed 24/7
Yes I'm pretty gutted I've been looking at them a friend is putting one on so I've advised him to get one I so wish I would have known about this sight but this is the 1st so its a learning curve
