a question about direct sunlight

So i was wondering if it would be better to put the little seedlings in direct sunlight as soon as they come out of the soil, without keeping them behind a window first, or if it would be better to give them a less strong light first. Thank you

Harden them off. Put in shade 1st then slowly more direct sun over a few days then should be fine. Make sure to protect against pests and wildlife

I seed that has sprouted in the sun does not need to be shaded or hardened off

Just make sure that they don't get cooked in the heat of the sun. If they are in trays or small containers that might dry out quickly, like solo cups for instance.
