I shouldnt say I talked to JR, dont even think thats a person, talked with JR staff via FB. Send them a message and ask if they have any distributors in your area. The staff member advised me they had multiple Canadian distributors.

That's the reason you don't see the Citrus one in Canada as you have to order so much which make no business sense if you only sell even 10 per year.

I sell tons of Jacks. If you don't care abut retail packs I break down the bigger 11.34kg bags into 1, 2.5 and 5kg portions. The 1KG portions come out to 1/2 price of the retail packs and also because its hard to get the 1kg containers in Canada, none of the suppliers carry much except for the 11.34kg ones. Been thinking about switching to Jacks 11.34kg. Currently use MegaCrop 2.0 but getting near the end of bag. Do I need two different formulas for Jacks', thus purchase two different bags? Never used it before but heard good things.

If you buy the big bags it makes it quite cheap to use. I use it from start to finish.
For mixing a 5 gallon bucket I use
18g of 5-12-26
12g of 15-0-0
6g of epson salts
So a 25lb bag of 5-12-26 is 630 buckets or 3150gallons at full strength
11.34 KG bag of jacks 84.99
10kg bag of Cal Nit 15-0-0 34.99
is $119.98 plus tax
for me thats
$135.58 add $10 for epson salts.
$145.48 that's 21cents a gallon with a few pounds of cal nit left over.

It really is easy to use. I went from megacrop 1 part to jacks. Super easy to use. 20litre bucket: 15gr jacks, 10gr cal-nit, 2.5 or 5gr epson salt. Jacks first, then dissolve epsom in container and add to jacks. Then dissolve cal-nit in container and add. Check PH. Mine is tap water, starts at 7.2 and ends at 6.8. I grow in coco so i ph down until 5.5 is achieved. If you grow with leds, add 12.5gr. Check your ppm on tap water.
Once you are in the habit of how it works, you will never look back.
I like to add boosters sometimes. I add megacrop bud explosion at 1.25gr per 20 litre bucket.

So you like Jacks' results better than MC? How do you find them to compare? Generally curious, if it is THAT much better then I would consider switching.

It all depends what you growing in. I like jacks in hydro and coco.. megacrop 2 part is the same as jacks/cal-nit but not as clean as jacks (top fed drippers). If you are not using drippers, megacrop 2 part is cheaper but jacks is tried and tested.
2 plants with megacrop 1 part: 14oz
2 plants with jacks: 16oz.
The 2 part is nice as you can adjust easy. Use the nutrient calculator
If i am unable to obtain jacks cheap, megacrop 2 part is the same nutrient levels.

Understanding and Calculating Nutrient PPM
Always good to give this thread another read. I have a question regarding NPK ratios and labeling. GH FLora Bloom is 0-5-4 with P2O5 and K2O. 0-2,15-3,3 is the with elemental P and K. Do you think of this nutrient as: 0-5-4 = 0-1,25-1 ratio or 0-2-3 = 0-1-1,5 ratio ?

OK I agree. With my MC 1 part 2.0 formula I also add some bloom booster starting week 5. Sometimes week 4 depends on the strain.
Also I use organic water and add a tiny bit of calmag. So I see why you get 14oz with just MC. My yields are really good using this method though with MC. 2 plants with megacrop 1 part: 2.0 -2.6 oz this way. 2-3 weeks veg from clone. In an 8x4 area that is 4-5 lbs.
I have a lot of LED light though and some CO2 mushroom bags. Maybe no need for Jacks. I do flood and drain in Rockwool.

I can't lie, megacrop ver1 was dead easy. Plants were loving the mix. I added bud explosion too.
I actually use bud explosion with jacks in flower as the P is not too high. I veg for 5-6 weeks and flip with scrog on top running 220w led (bridgelux eb gen 2).
I just hate greenleaf constantly tweaks the recipe.. no point to it. Although the cal-nit balls would go brown due to moisture in air. I had i good sealed container and still went brown. Made me want to make a big vat of concentrate.

You really need to get the air out of the bag and then I put it into a rubber maid bin. Only had it clumped up if I didn't get the air out of the bag properly. The 2 part with out the CalNit stays powdery with no issues same as Jacks 5-12-26. Any fertizers that have CalNit in them will clump up if not sealed really well. The Jacks ones with CalNit get clumpy really fast.
I haven't been able to sell any MC 2 part since I brought it in even with doing crazy deals lol. Think I'm just gonna glow it out at cost as I sell way more Jacks especially the 321 mix. Plus sucks having $3K in fertilizer sitting there not selling lol I did sell tons of the 1 Part Version 2. Probably around 140 10kg total.
