I was legit asking what went wrong with air drying my weed above. As I’ve admitted, 2hearts can make valid points but he’s battling a real bad case of constipation from eating too many meat pies. It’s possible he doesn’t post photos due to paranoia of getting busted, which is legit. Not sure on UK laws.


I am lazy and all too eager to go along with 2heart’s theory that folks should let bud hang longer instead of jarring and burping. But that’s basically what I did last year with uneven results.

I’ve had good luck growing so far due to experience with other plants but the drying/curing has been less successful. Yes I am a lowly noob but I don’t have any clarity on why some of my bud went from smelling dank to smelling like hay within days of harvest — yes, I have researched past posts and I’m still confused.

If it smells like hay after a proper dry and cure, you most likely dried too fast or harvested too early.

Get good genetics, don't harvest early pretty much everything goes around 10 weeks, don't over fertilize, slow dry 10-14 days 7 at the least, dry trim, jar around 65% and sweat the buds till 60ish (or use paper bags), enjoy dank bud that never smells like hay and doesn't need to cure or be pinched/ground to smell the crazy good terps. The end.
