Just had a little over watering problem and now 4 of them are starting to get purple leaves. 3 are gg#4 and one is sour d any ideas? I read phosphorus but idk. I also have 7 more gg#4s and 9 more sour ds that didn’t turn purple as well as 20 more of other strains in the same seedling Tent That also did not turn purple.

let the soil completely dry out before you water again. try to get you night temps to match you day time temps. purple is indicator of cold temps

On leaves tho? I’ve read a bunch about the stems but the only thing I’ve read about purple leaves is that it’s genetic. I’m definitely having an issue with my soil holding water for too long.

dont water till the point that these things are starting to wilt. then just give them a little drink. your roots are water logged
Yup, the tops will be bone dry 3 inches down but still be heavy which makes no sense because because I put plenty of drainage holes, this better homes and gardens organic shit is holding every drop. Should have sucked it up and got something better. They look much happier today and I’m noticing a few glues have this weird thing going on.

Yes will show on leaves.
Seedling looks stressed to me.
Slow/stunted growth most likely from overwatering and poor environment.
It’s causing lockout.
Let soil dry right out before next watering and consider adding perlite or something similar to your soil next time or when you up pot.
I suspect you also have low temps. possibly high humidity and poor airflow/air exchange??
More info on environment would help

Low temps yes, low 70s during the day, humidity is 40% Its got fans, vent etc. had a co2 bag in there but I felt like that was hurting it too so I put it else where where it’ll be more appreciated.

Good stuff.
Yes, getting temp up will help.
Extra co2 from that bag with fans/ventilation etc won’t being doing much to increase your co2 levels imo. And wouldn’t hurt the plant if it did increase co2 levels, would help if anything.

if it were me, I’d make a lighter soil mix adding perlite and gently take seedling and soil out of pot and carefully tickle the majority of the wet soil off and around the root zone being careful not to damage roots, then re plant seedling in the lighter mix.

also feel how heavy the pot is before you water new soil mix. You will want the soil a touch heavier than that before you water again.

Yeah it’s weird, in the last 24 hrs they’ve drooped and came back up and dropped again, still haven’t watered and they are still kind of wet. Makes it hard to tell

Is there anything in your environment that changes when this happens?
Have you had any new growth come through in the last 4 or 5 days?

I’m not sure, I noticed they didn’t really like the fan so I turned that down, other Than that I have I guess at least average conditions for them, humidity and temp are still fine.

What's the temp... purpling happens when it's too cold
