I top when at 6th node, down to the 4th. then you can top every 3 nodes after as long as you want to veg. everyone has the way they like. If your growing SCROG you need to top alot for many Cola's. Or you can top twice and grow 8 nice long buds when they stretch.

I wait till 6 nodes then top at the third. When they recover i trim the bottom two.
Multiple toppings arent really needed unless you are working in a short environment. On my more stretchy plants in veg, i will top multiple times to keep them in check or at the same height as the others

Can you recommend a good how-to scrog video?

Just look on you-tube, 100’s of them . You can make from HD materials. Or just learn to train the plants to grow like a flat top hedge. This is three plants, one in back East topped twice and controlled stretch with light. Other two are super cropped and trained to a level top for even light. Will be weighing and seeing difference in side by side grow.
