Sulfur burner, pm

Hi, I always have PM late in flower. My room is quite large 18 hps lights over 300sqft. It's too big and cumbersome to scrub every square inch and what's more the walls and floor are OSB painted white, so there are a lot of crevices that PM can linger in.

I'm thinking of investing in a sulfur burner to run between grows as part of my cleaning process.

My question is will sulfur kill PM spores that are NOT on plants, like the spores lingering in the room? Everything I've read on sulfur is that it changes the PH of the leaf surface which is what prevents

Consider a Marrone product called Regalia. It is a plant extract that works quite well against PM, both as a treatment and as a prophylactic. My grower friend swears by it and uses it as a root drench. It’s expensive, but it imparts no toxicity to your weed.

What I've been doing is applying Eagle 20 a week before 12/12 but by week 6 the PM appears and comes on with a vengeance. I then apply neem oil as best I can and it's just a waiting game until harvest.

You can also buy an ozone generator for under $100 but can’t use it on the plants. Great for in between cleanings

Thats where i am at...week 6 and it's coming on strong...and i have used Regalia 2 x last week as a foliar spray!

I just read this about neem oil....I was about to order some and stopped after this!

"Years ago we used to recommend Neem Oil for powdery mildew prevention and control during a plant’s vegetative growth cycle.

Not anymore though, due to the various discussions linking the chemical Azadirachtin, an active ingredient found in neem oil, to a condition known as cannabis hyperemesis syndrome.[4]

Furthermore, neem oil makes buds oily and smelly, which is another reason to avoid it altogether, especially during the cannabis plant’s flowering cycle"

It's a good read. I just ordered some potassium bicarbonate to try and knock it back...under $10 on Amazon. Supposed to be way better than baking soda.

Best of luck to you...and I would also try the sulfer burn in your case...I can not!

In my many years, I have had PM twice. I didn't properly learn my lesson the first time but believe I have now.
You have to purge. If a crop is close to the end, strip the bigger leaves, spray with H2O2 a couple times and harvest as soon as you can. Dispose of all soil. If a crop is young has shown signs of PM, get rid of it, start again, it will return if you don't. I think once a plant has had PM, it can then host it. You can't keep those around.
If you have plants that have not shown it and you want/need to keep, I have had very good success with a spray of 29% H2O2, mixed at 25mls per Litre. Every couple days, nice and clean, doesn't hurt the plants. Doesn't eradicate it but keeps plants from getting it until you purge any hosts out. Good to soak a plant down that has a lot of it before you start stripping the fan leaves and sending the spores out.
I've tried a multitude of products that don't work that well anyway. Some don't seem to work at all.
Powdery Mildew and spider mites are the two things to avoid at all costs where I'm from.

Eagle 20 has a bad reputation and that's because people think the information on these boards is sacrosanct.
It is used on all sorts of edible crops and sprayed on golf courses and lawns. In some form you are probably in contact with it weekly if not daily.
I mix 4ml per gallon and spray about half that on 36 plants, half of which ends up being overspray.
So basically 1.25 ml actually contacts the plants, and half of that drips off. So we are basically at 0.5ml absorbed by 36 plants, which are then given 10 weeks to metabolize before consumption. Evidence that their is probably little to zero myclobutinyl in the buds is the fact that powdery mildew is once again present. Even if there were E20 in the product, 0.5ml spread across 20lbs of bud ain't gonna hurt you, it's not plutonium.

I have no qualms about using E20 and consuming the buds and concentrates.
That being said, it would be great if I didnt have to use it, and I would never ever spray it on a budding plant.

I've tried the green cure, sm90, neem oil, but the PM just comes back. I got the sulfur burner a couple hours ago and it's doing its thing right now, I'm about to order this regalia stuff too. I'm interested in this silica that I read about in the linked thread above, not sure if its applied topically or mixed in the rez

so u have a heater for night I take it my best guess just gotta scrub the fuck out of the room before u do another run with out pm best way I found to beat pm I had bud rot that was because my humidity would spike at lights out because my temperature would drop low and then my dehumidifier doesn't work as well

Eagle 20 is a banned substance in states that test for pesticides. There must be a bigger reason than riu bro science.

My guess is there is a huge difference between combusting / smoking a substance and walking on it.

But even a brief google search found a mountain of evidence not to use it. ymov.
