Do not run a 550 in a 3x3 at full power. Its way too much light!

I bought one of these fixtures to use on my 4x4 pheno-hunt tent. $320 shipped to my door. Did a run with it that just finished. Very pleased

i bought lights from them a while back for a mate and theyre still doing really well in a 4x4...
havent seen too many, if any complaints from meijiu and they sell a lot of lights...

I was intending on get the 550 in the event I change spaces. I may use the dimmer. But at the right distance, intensity shouldn't be an issue either way should it?

Dimmed your fine, just didn't want you getting the idea that slapping as much wattage as you can fit in there would be better.
4 boards like the 550 is better than 2 boards, doesn't matter how you go about it though, one big quad heat sink, 2 twins, 4 singles, its all the same roughly.

Definitely not a huge investment. Maybe ask them to hold off on their "Meiju" Logo on the sink if they can? Lololol

£62 for 800 561c diodes is pretty tempting imo.
