You are right, it was us that voted him in, but it was on Putin for using his countries resources in attacking our electorate in the way that they have. And Trump's for giving him the tools to do it, even if Trump was too stupid to realize the implications of what he was doing. Our ability to be naive is over, it's basically going to be the online version of we were hit with 9/11.

And even if you guys get some wins in 2020 by flooding our vulnerable citizens with propaganda in those key districts that have been carved out to make what Putin did possible, there is 2022, then 2024, on and on. We will get it right more often than not, especially as the onion get peeled on what Putin did to get Trump elected and more and more people hold our elected officials accountable. And the world will continue to spin.

Rider101 I'm glad ya seem to be on the right side of history, in Canada. I think folks here are concerned about support for Trump, because this is not a normal situation in the USA. Trump's unfitness for office, corruption, incompetence, treason and character defects, are a real and present danger, to not just America, but our country as well. Racism is the only reason, for supporting Trump, no other, just bigotry, racism is now seen as a national security threat and the source of most terrorism. Racists have no right or valid reason to hold these views, they cannot justify them in debate and their world view is antisocial period, they put hate before country and even before their own interests, hate makes ya stupid. Brown people have rights too and when people think being white and Anglo makes them something special, it means they don't have a lot going for them and know it.

So who do you think made the electoral college system in the States? Where rural peoples votes count double then those in cities. Repeating mistakes is moronic.

At present, that happens to be close to the truth. And I agree, it is pathetic. Here are the peoples votes in the 2016 election:

When you lose by just over 2% of the vote and yet somehow win, that's about as corrupt as it gets.
