Cloning with Honey / Cinnamon

Last night I took a couple of clippings from my plant, and remember hearing that honey has the required acids to promote root growth, and I added cinnamon to prevent fungus and prevent bugs.
The plants last night wilted after about an hour, but this morning these little things perked right up. that was kinda an easy experience.

Does anyone else have any experience cloning with honey?

Yes since there are only two im using the bottoms of 2L Pop Bottles, instead of my cloning tray, its almost 80ºF at 8am right now , dont wanna nuke the little things haha

Yeah I’m supremely self how fast they respond to the honey in hours they shocked themselves and then recovered

Use cinnamon to propagate the cuttings if you don’t have access to a rooting hormone.
Just wet the cutting in a clean water and roll it in cinnamon powder before planting.
Application of cinnamon will prevent disease and infections during the process
when your cutting will start to root. It can also be used when grafting.

I did actually add cinnamon to the honey before applying it to the stem. i have them in janky little domes atm for the next week

the 2L i had didnt hold any humidity well anyhow i used some glass jars woah they worked well.

I'd leave the lid of so the cuts breathe for a few minutes each day ,,,, a temp gauge in the soil will make you grin?

Naah it is the same,I think it just looks wetter in the glass as it would be cooler than the thin plastic

The issue i had with the 2L Plastic was it wasnt making a good seal with the pots so no greenhouse effect for the most part , the jars are alot heavier and worked well maybe JANK as fuck it works. lol

We were very wet but it’s been dry as dry could be , lol humidity on the other hand that could fuck right off lol

We have dry summers to make up for the wet winters. I'm not complaining it is the first time we had good winter rains in 4 years.

I dip in honey and then Mykos.

I do burp em a few times a day not to worry and the temp the soil sticks around room temp maybe a tad hotter, no wilting they seem pretty happy.

Watch for signs of damping off using domes.

after much fooling around with domes, dips, aerocloner, and the oxy cloner, I found the most practical is the oxy cloner. You can put alot of cuts into a small space, with just clean water and a clean system this little thing will give you tons of clones with little effort. It is one extra step planting them into dirt the advantages and easyness outweigh every other option. The aerocloner was a little bit better but a pain in the ass to clean, dump, and deal with overall. Dipping hormone costs 20$ for a small bottle and then on top of that you gotta do the dome and watever , and then the clonex goes bad because its old and blah blah blah

I will clone in a cup of water and change the water daily now before I will try with a dome, just from my experience. The only way i'd clone straight into a medium is if I was doing ROLS or something which I am not.

the oxy cloner uses a small sumbersible pump to do a flooming type effect on the water as well as an air stone and is easy to clean and maintain
