Last but not least, these got flipped and their first flower feed today.

I also love having a plan come together LOL Here is the little gem 38days into flip,

and she is doing exactly what the GDP clone didn't at this stage - popping new pistils.

As well as having all 15 cola being fatter than a roll of quarters and getting tall, the tops keep pumping out new sugar leaves. Since I have the 2 flower rooms now, I may postpone her end-of-month harvest date. BUT, two weeks is plenty of time for these new ones to brown as well.

Some of the brown pistils that were right on top are now on the sides with new greenage above them

And this one is the brownest of the non-broken ones. But those are still kicking too.

If you look back, these were all in a nice boxy-looking circle. When they started fattening up, I untied every other one to let it phototroph and separate itself from it's neighbors. All but one did. so I had to get creative It also happened to be the one I had the broken limb tied to, so it took 3 more ties to do it. I know that in veg it takes about 4 hours for an LST like this to point back north. Wonder what will happen with this?

Manifold update.

I am not keeping the first set of shoots on each limb. The next node goes too eventually, because they will be pointing in the wrong direction. The 3rd node is when I'll decide if it goes to an 8-top, or if I prep to flip.​

So if I am not keeping a node, I snip it early - as soon as there is enough of a stem to get the scissors around without fimming it. I think a shoot takes more than it gives, but I keep those fan leaves until they get in the way and the next set can support the plant. If they never get in the way I'll keep them until they get old and ugly - but the first couple of sets always do.

I had the hooks above that node for a day (above pic) to open those shoots to the light. Now they are back below that node until the next shoot-pruning.

I am leaning towards keeping it a 4-top. I want to see the limbs closer to the pot edge before I flip, so they have room to get fat. That means that at node 3 I should be able to let it go vertical, but eventually snip the node 3 and 4 stuff before it flips.

At that point, I will still have the option of doing an 8-cylinder again. Way too many decisions for a stoner, but I want good production out of my only seed of this strain. I may end up growing and flipping 1-each of my new seeds around this one. Make it a little bonsai project and keep it slow under the 65w.

Getting the heat mat ready! I ordered seeds (from Holland) on the 8th. I got payment receipt confirmation on the 15th, shipment on 16th, and out for delivery today. They must have some stock pre-staged for delivery in the US.

1ml of h2o2 in 30ml of water, and I set an alarm for 24 hrs to plant them.

I have enough soil for 3 solo-cups that I am going to get moist, then let dry for a day, and the rapid-rooters are soaking in water and Fox Farms "Rhize-up"

I am also getting the 2 gallon pots ready and will soak them thoroughly now, then let them dry until I transplant. I have found that if you plant into dry FF soil mixes, it will tend to shed water at first. You can put a gallon through it and have more than half come out, but keep running that same water through and have it eventually hold it all.

2 out of 3 had a tail at 20 hours so they all went into a solo-cup this morning Happy 4/20, these should be good

And 41 days into flip. The first set of pistils is fully brown and shriveled, and the new set is fully out and thinning a little. I think the end of month harvest is right on schedule. The cola I pulled into the middle didn't straighten up, but you can see the upward growth on the end of the flower

And the GDP harvest went the whole day without losing weight. The cure officially starts today. It was 63g total, but I just put 56g the biggest buds in to cure and played with some of the smaller nugs today. It was tasty, a little harsh, but keif was EVERYWHERE. This stuff is loaded.

I haven't tried decarbing fresh weed yet (someone on here mentioned that about trim). I don't think doing it wet would be good, but we'll see if the cure makes a difference. Have about 5g of the little nugs leftover from today, so I'm putting that in to try.

Here's a side by side of the decarbed stuff with some that isn't. Tried it this morning in breakfast, and it packs a slow-mellow wallop. I made a note to actively consider "how high" I was about an hour after I ate. About 4 hours later I'm watching Game of Thrones re-runs and thinking about lunch LOL

So far, even though both are Indica or Indica dominant, the skunk is more of a morning edible. Good for aches and pains, and getting stuff done. The GDP is couch-lock, maybe get creative, but not if it requires too much effort
