Hello all! New to RIU and growing. I don’t partake as I am subject to random drug tests for my job. I grow “medicine” for my daughter who suffers from depression and anxiety. I do love the science behind growing though and look forward to learning everything I can from you fine folks.

I do it all. Commercial airliners. Boeing/MD and Airbus. Love it.

Hub is USAF retired. He came in with the C-141 and retired with it. He worked enroute type maintenance. Did a little bit of civilian stuff but not much. We are on the West coast, you?

Thank you! I have gardened on different scales all my life and thought I pretty much knew it all, but cannabis growers “science f*ck” the hell out of growing plants! I love the LED threads where they talk about how many photons of light come from a light and I’m just like “I want a really bright one”!
I am almost finished with my first grow, and I want to research a few things I came across during the grow. I am 100% positive I will find my answers here. As long as I’m learning something, it doesn’t matter to me if that info comes from the good, the bad, or the ugly.

Beware the 'bro science' crowd. There's a lot of bullshit floating around here. Keep it simple, make sure your basics are on point and you'll have great success.

In terms of LED, what you want is efficiency- otherwise they aren't really worth the price premium.
