Nutrient order and flush

The entire plant is a storage mechanism.
The roots are predominant for uptake of water/nutes, but the leaves make it complete with their ability to breath/collect/store energy.
You will see this after a few grows, how the fan leaves and smaller leaves around the bud sites wither and die after giving up all their energy, to provide you with all that beautiful bud.
I don't even bother to check tric's anymore, all I do is look at the leaves and they tell me when the plant is done.
If you say so.
I have never flushed, buds never taste like "hay". Still not convinced of the nute storage, or flushing ideas.
Usually the hay smell is due to harvesting too early, pheno, or improper drying.

We are always manipulating the plant indoors to get the highest performance out of them to maximize the yeild = more buds dont we. Flushing is just one of those things you do to get the best taste you can. The plant kind of does a self flush when it stops sending sugars down to the roots and focuses all its remaining energy on flower and seed production. Then the microbes either die or go dormat as the microbes feed the plant and the plant feeds the microbes out in nature. Then it rains but theres no active microbes feeding the plant so the plant just absorbs clean water and fades away to death. Its just another thing to do to manipulate the plant - to get the best taste.

Now let me ask youz isnt the hay smell the chlorophyll ?? Isnt the chlorophyll what makes the plant green.

I get the hay smell from leaves when I defoliate in veg or defoliate in general but not as much when I chop cuz I flush the nutrients out the best I can and let the plant fade right before chop.

Now let me ask you isnt the harsh taste when smoked the excessive nutrients or chlorophyl when not dried and cured right?. Is it the reason that if you dry your buds to fast and theres no moisture in the buds to break down the chlorophyll however that works, isnt that another reason you get a harsh taste when smoked.

Convinced yet?
No? I tried

300/500/750/1000/1200 then lower it down by 250/300 every feed might be an option if you do it like that. i usually lower stuff down by the week and not an individual feed.

I think 2ml per gallon on the calmg is adequate amount for a maintenance application.

Under what light?? Big numbers like that you need a big light.

Recommend you add a microbe and humic acid product to the lineup.
600 hps adjust a wing enforcer that last pic was under a 600 hps cool tube..the reason for the numbers like that Is to see how they cope.. before I used guanokalong soul or boi bizz soul both used in conjunction with the suppliers nutes.. the pic in my last post was guanokalong soul with 500 grams of guano 500grams of meal worms and a bag of clover seeds and used their grow bloom and k2boost I have used their products in the past I’m not blaming the products on the hay smell...I will blame the fan on in the room to combat the smell coming from the drying tent lol.. thank you for the replies and if you would like I’ll post a pic every few weeks of garden

Peace

The ppm numbers seem high compared to the wattage of light you have. My rule of thumb is that I dont like to go to far past my wattage compared to the ppms. So a 600 watt light I wouldnt go past lets say 900 in heavy flower. Kind of like you wouldnt but a 1000 watt light on a seedling it cant handle it and burn up. Or you wouldnt dump a gallon of gas into a one piston motor on each stroke. Some strains can handle alot of ppms some cant. I have actually seen some plants I had too hot get smaller as time went on. Sorry cant comment on the nutes you use.

Excessive salts restrict plant growth and can kill the microbe population.

I will take this into serious consideration I will run some plants at diff levels to see difference and will run 2 or 3 at no higher than 900ppm I will have 4 to 6 scrog in a 1.2 tent at a time ..but what is the reasoning behind this with the light wattage I couldn’t even guess lol

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^not much of an article other than flushing is a myth.
I just have gone by what I can see and how it taste to me. Ive been paying attention to different practices that I do so I flush. I think the drying first then cure second is the most important thing flush or not but I think flush helps so I flush. I dont think I flush to early I dont think I flush to long. Probably not long enough, but i flush when I think its just about ready by my triks, how the plant looks, go by the time spent so far, consider what strain I have if I hadnt grown it out before, it all gets considered set a chop date by my schedule and start flushing.

Party on soldier.
