I'm going to try the backline digital, if I have a problem I'll change Supplier,.. Magnetic ones cause too much heat and that a problem for me too..

These magnetic ones don't come with any safety features? You gotta keep an eye out incase a problem occurs?
Been 4 years now with the same 6 magnetic ballast. And they were 10 years old when I got them. Never had any trouble only thing is that their wired 220. I did that for easy start up and no humming of the ballast and I use hourtulx bulbs and they’re in the attic with covers removed

that's a copy of a Quantum.

take the cover off the broke one. i'd almost bet there is a small glass fuse in there that is bad
Ye I guess they from the same source cause all pictures and packaging are the same.. Just this one has French and Spanish on the side of the box, not Chinese and English

Problem with that is they make noise, I gotta sleep next to the grow lol, and I think you need a different one for each type of globe, and I'm pretty sure it won't have a 3year warranty
I was worried about noise at first too. But my 400w powersun doesn't make a sound. Only few days old but still. Silent as can be. Local store hooked up a whole setup for 175 tax included , bulb, ballast ,reflector and mogul .
