Was it the proper type and correct rated bulb? I did see you said both were 1000w, but do you have a picture of the bulb, was this the replacement bulb they sent you?

Sorry for the wait
nothing obvious jumps out at me with those pics.

the only thing i can think of is that some electronic ballasts will not fire up non electronic rated bulbs. that's why on the higher quality bulbs like hortilux they have a "e ballast compatible" notation.

i would have to say your ballast has trouble firing the Metal halides then. didn't you say the Mh went out first? and teh dual arc has MH in it too and it went bad.

can you get your money back on the whole kit?

The MH only flickered, they gave me a new dual ark and MH.. (new mh worked fine for the 30min I tested it) then I ran the dual ark and then the MH par melted

They have given me the option for money back or stand to the warranty and sort it out... I really don't wanna change the setup as it's what I want in the end..

if it were me, i'd get my money back and buy the same stuff but from a better manufacturer.

how are you planning on using the 3 bulbs for your grow?

But the regulator on the ballast should stop that.. And 2 tv's never broke?
TV is probably a 40 or 60W load....
1000W ballast gets hit like a mofo if they don't switch the power off nicely (they don;t cause the switches are fucked from neglect)

It's gotta be a bad ballast then? Cause the one I got sepose to prevent this stuff.. We did get hit our recommended 2hr of load shedding, but that was during lights off anyways
