Need Guidance Setting Up Filter and Exhaust Fan

alright so I am setting up my grow tent and having some trouble figuring out how to do this correctly.
I would like to use a cloudline T6 unit for exhaust but wondering how I can hook this thing up? I mean actually secure/mount it to the top of my tent with the carbon filter attached? This unit is designed to be mounted onto a stable flat surface I was told via email by the manufacturer. What do I need to do/buy to get this mounted properly?

Also since I am in a small 2x2.5 tent I need to take into account the length of these together. I don't honestly know if it will fit since the T6 is 12.6 inches and the filter says 18 inches. I would just be clearing it by 1.4 inches.. That does not sound like it would be ideal..

Hang it level from your tent. Also don’t forget to pull air through the filter and out of the tent.

Thanks yes I realize I need to hang it with the filter but how, I mean with what? Can anyone point me in the right direction on what I can buy to achieve this?

Take a few ratchet hangers(used to raise and lower lights) wrap em around the scrubber,hang on clip onto the top tent pole. I have a cloudline t6 attached to a 6x12" phat filter. Aluminum taped the seal of the fan/filter connection,then used the clamps provided with the unit to clamp the t6 to the scrubber and the ducting.

I've also used those old belts that have no buckle, just a loop thru to tighten it.
Ya just need a way to support the fan and filter, ratchet hangers work. I use 3 , 1 for the fan 2 for the filter.

I thought a couple of times about putting the filter/fan outside the tent, it would allow me to grow them a bit bigger. This is a small 2 x2.5 foot tent, space is at a premium.
But...
Been told that these filters work better(much better) if they pull the stink through them over pushing.

To save space have the filter in the tent with a small length of ducting between the filter to the fan which is sucking from the filter.
Then a length of duct the other side of the fan to the window or where ever you are sending the heat.
The fan can sit on top of the tent or you can chain it, bungie it to anything.

Oh yea, the t6 comes with two straps included. Nobighurry and coreywebster are spot on with their advice as well.

The fan/filter is 4 inch. The filter is like 8 inches around and a foot long. The fan is speed controlled.
There is a flowering almost completed grow in the tent.

It has been noticed however...The current grow is a true skunk and is sort of, just a bit, escaping the filtration and smelling the house up, just an edge of it, but...
