Struggling to keep humidity down late flower!

Only about 2 weeks left of flower, first grow.

However having issues with humidity, during lights off I cant get it lower than 55%rh im using a big dehumidifier aswell. The tent is in a room with the RH of 65%, any other room in the house is 80% and outside is 90% where I live currently.

Using a $80.00 proper sensor. Readings are taken a day after watering.

Will 55%rh during lights off be low enough RH to not cause any problems?

When the lights go out humidity will spike. I doubt it stays that high all night . Also you want to check humidity in the canopy . I made the mistake of clipping sensor to pot .

Thanks for the reply, i have my sensor hanging at canopy level going to a controller outside the tent so i check every time i walk into the room, it definitely hovers around 55% during the whole 'lights off' period and drops to under 50% when lights are on, sometimes during 'lights off' at tops it might touch 60%rh. I have aircon running to and doesn't drop the RH still around the 55% rh during 'lights off'.

Just keep a lot of air moving around the plaxnts. You'll be okay.

Med4, I feel ya. I live in the Smokies and it's ALWAYS humid. A dry day is 50%RH, normal is 70-80%. I have found on indoor grows, as long as there is good air movement in the grow space I haven't had ANY issues with bud rot. Outdoor grows are a crap shoot for me. Last year was unusually dry during Autumn and everything went well. This year was a constant deluge and bud rot was everywhere.

Thanks for the reply's, funnily enough my tower fan for blowing air around the tent died yesterday! I noticed whist it was out (No fan installed except exhaust fan) during the lights on phase I had better temps in the grow tent almost the same as the room temps. My tower fan is positioned right in front of the passive air intakes, maybe I'm blocking flow? i thought it would be best place for it so it spreads the fresh adjusted air around.

You learn from these mistakes.

Tents are hard on fans went threw 3 of the secret jardeen 6 inch oscillating fans and 2 6" cheepo inside a year . Finally bucked up and bought nice tower and paid for extended warranty. I don't like the fact it takes up floor space and 0 air flow comes out bottom foot.
