Hello there and sorry if this is a similar to other posts though i have a small grow currently vegging under cfls and i have a 300w vyparaspectre for flowering in a 48x24x60" grow tent. On my first grow i had two plants in the tent and they seemed to grow okay (though my yield was miserable). That being said im growing using soil and personally feel i need 1-2 more 300ish watt leds. But i want to get alternate opinions as well as reccomendations for which lights would be best! Thanks in advance!
Sorry your thread went south. To be honest, CFL and viparspactra aren't so good. 30 watts per square foot is a common recommendation with good LED, and thats white light from COBs strips or boards. With less effective blurple lights like viparspectra, 40-50 watts is probably about right.

You could add more light or replace the viparspectra altogether. What exact model is it?

I'd suggest a strip build, or buy Quantum boards or COBs. Here's some links in the US.

Amare Shill
2 x 4 tent = Amare Pro-4
Now upgraded to vero gen 7's & olson reds.
This would rock your size tent w/o lenses seeing how your low ceilings.
If ever venture past the height limitations then use the lenses for serious directed light.
Saw them on sale here but these may be the 3590 & cree editions. https://growlightcentral.com/products/amare-solarpro-sp-400-pro-4?variant=43024101139&utm_medium=cpc&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Google Shopping&gclid=CjwKCAjw2_LcBRBYEiwA_XVBU29HJOQ0OKv87YTqaef_8R_UqmR_kI7dT8clQ2DO3QzX-cSe9gZDfxoCa34QA
Going through Amare direct you'll get 25% off RIU & get the upgrades.
Good luck. It's all about what you want. Theres plenty of options for quality. affordable fixtures.
Using a Pro-4 w/ lenses on the side of this GG x LaWoman that's 3/4's under the HPS.20180914_222233.jpg Got another w/o lenses hitting the isle side of these hps OBG X LaWomans & GG'S too. Can see it in the top left corner of the above photo. 20180914_222326.jpg

It's model v300 and I am open to replacing it all together if that's my best option. Just new to growing and even newer to LEDs! I appreciate all the input

It is model v300 and I am all for replacing it just want to make sure whatever I invest in next is going to be quality and easy to add to if space allows later. I also don't know much about quantum boards or cobbs. So I'm reading up more on them. I appreciate the input
