I'm In Maine , There's alot of Fake Glue going around all over the place not just here

Thankfully for me I Got The Real GG#4 & I'll Be Reversing Her Starting This Month , I'm Also Gonna Be Breeding Her with a Few Sturdy Males from good genetic seedstock eventually as well

But I'm Sick and tired of Fake Glue
The Guys from Elev8 ain't got no glue ,
Uhhh IVE SEEN IT GROWN
& Their gg4 ain't nothing like mine
NO leaf Twist & no Alternating Count of 3 & 5 Leaves

REAL GG#4 DONT LOOK SATIVA OR INDICA
It Looks Like a Hybrid
No Leaf Twist = Fake Gg4
Cuts??

Of course they are gonna hype their product any business would. The man who created the strain himself said they told him they used an s1 indica dom plant as the mom. That's not even close to what GG#4 is. I hope for your sake that something good comes from them but no way it's putting out replicas so good that it sells as real deal. The cut is very easily attainable which is the way the creator wanted it to be. Your in MI I would try sourcing the cut which shouldn't be too hard. I do hear of bunk cuts of it floating around but I'll tell you this if it doesn't have red stripped stems then it ain't GG#4. Always have those stems somewhere on it but please get the Gorilla Bubble beans if you want something GG#4 dom in reg form
Yeah the Red stripes are there but the Telltale Sign of An Authentic GG#4 Cut Also has the Signature Leaf Twisting & Alternating sets of 3 & 5 leaves & it hates Being Cloned

I Have Several Elite Cuts & Specialize in Clone Onlys , Elites & Landraces

Too Much Fake Glue Going Around
Even here In Maine

I will definitely try to get the gorilla bubble but if not I actually found a good cut of the real gg#4 that I can get in a couple weeks so I will grow that next to the beans I get from elev8 ? Maybe cross a male elev8
" fake" gg#4 with the real female. Probably would then be closer to glue than what a lot of people have and in seed form. Even though it wouldn't be stable but a cool ideas idk its late haha.
Or just Reverse your cut
Much easier IMO

Reversing has been done many times by a lot of people. Thats where most fake gg4 comes from. She is such a poly hybrid reversing doesnt reliably yield plants like the clone. With high numbers you might get lucky but most will be chem sis leaning or dubb leaning.

You could just use a male plant and then select the best one's over multi-generations and then go back to the plant that resembles her most then after that you could use the same male gg4 x ? to hit the Clone only & then stabilize her offspring once again from there and you will have something that's so much like the Clone you won't be able to tell the difference and you may add more vigor to The Offspring that way but that will take a long time

Poly's can be reversed and stabilize but you have to have space and a lot of time to dedicate to the project

If you was to just use a male that is closely related you could take your next Generations and create something that's identical through selectively hybriding

And maybe I'm just lucky or I'm that good because in the past I reversed Poly hybrids and there wasn't much variation in The Offspring

But to each his own

Good luck with your endeavors
I'll be following the progress

& I'll be sure to let everyone know how my gg4 turns out , I'm sure if I pop a 10 pack I'll get one just like the mom ! Well see

Thats exactly what ive been doing for the last 5 years with the gorilla bubble.
If you find a plant very similar in gg4 s1 you will be very lucky. As i said people have run through gg4 s1 for years and it is known whats in there. Gg4 is probably the most widespread and shared clone in America.
Good luck on your projects.

OK thanks . That's What Selective Hybridization is All About ,. I'll Be Posting On My Hyperspace Strain Which is a Double Poly Hybrid Cross Stabilized over 5 Gens

So did you Reverse the clone only ? & If so how many beans did you pop before getting a plant identical to the clone only ?
