Dan Kaszeta, who boasts 27 years' experience in the field, said there are potentially many "variables" about the impact of the Novichok nerve agent attack which left Mr Skripal, 66, and his daughter Yulia, 33, fighting for their lives in hospital after being found unconscious on a park bench in Salisbury on March 4.
He suggests that anyone who has ever tuned in to a Hollywood spy thriller and is now questioning why a nerve agent has failed to deliver a killer blow should understand that "the reality is that chemical warfare is not sexy, it can be quite boring and does not live up to the hype".

NOPE. Nothing is 100%, as in 000.
100% is just a number, and I point that out because using numbers implies rational analysis. Human certainty is innately irrational. The more we understand, the more clear it becomes that absolute certainty about anything is impossible. All we can really say is that we're convinced of something, or find the evidence overwhelming, but a truly logical person would allow for doubt in anything. Anytime someone expresses total certainty, that's coming from a place of irrationality.
That's even more obvious when talking about issues as divisive as you mention. A rational person would have to allow for the possibility that they might be wrong about a complex issue.
A humble person would never be absolutely certain of something when a big chunk of the population disagrees with them. A truly rational person would look at the facts and the evidence and form a conclusion about what is most likely, while allowing for the possibility of being swayed by other arguments.
The problem is, we're irrational and emotional beings. We find comfort and security in certainty, and often make beliefs a part of our self-image. That means that attacking those beliefs feels like a personal attack on us, and we become immediately defensive. We become emotionally invested in being right, which causes us to ignore any evidence that we might be wrong.
It's not remotely logical, but it's an exceptionally common, almost universal, human trait.

The Skripals' long-term prognosis is uncertain, however. Michelle Carlin, senior lecturer in forensic and analytical chemistry at Northumbria University, said there is limited knowledge about the long-term effects of Novichok poisoning, but "neurological damage has been reported in other historic cases."

The hospital in Salisbury is on record as saying no one has presented with symptoms of nerve agent poisoning.
Democrats have repeatedly voted in favor of programs to keep Americans under surveillance, so I'm not sure where you're getting your righteous purity act from.
I'm a Leftist because I'm tired of both parties lying, cheating and stealing from the American People at will.

Also regardless of what the guy at the hospital says the Nerve Agent Has Been Identified, and the cop, and the 2 Ruskies WERE exposed to nerve agent. Agent was found at the park, on the doorknob, and because someone was not having symptoms at that moment doesn't mean they weren't exposed.

Others that were exposed, got lucky. Blood Tests proved they were exposed.
