Looks pretty good only thing i would change
Is add a tee where your waterfall comes in .

I know it looks good to go to the center but when roots fill in it wont do its job as well.

Nice job :)

Also i agree with the others remote res is nice
And nice to spread them as much as you can cause they will get big fast :)

wanna make my diy rdwc but i have a strange configuration!!
im on 3ft x 6 ft , so i need to do a find a narrow solution :/
edit: too tight for alien and other brand stuff, alwayz make their stuff on 4ft large

I dont know anyone who has tried it but i was interested.

Not sure but i think ozone is produced and can mess with some minerals in the nutrients

Yeah I think it looks nifty but would need to see some journals or science on the effects of electrolysis on roots. I'd be curious if you could break the O2 saturation barrier with it.

Just build your own. It's not very difficult, and then you can customize it specifically for your needs.

Is that 3" PVC for the connectors you're using? If it were me, I'd have built the connectors so they were as low on the side of the bucket as they could possibly be so that there's more water pressure to help naturally move the water and most of all to be able to get a fairly decent drain from draining just the reservoir rather than needing to pull off each lid in the middle of a run.

I would also suggest a pvc Tee or 90* Elbow for each waterfall flowing into each bucket. But with that much constant movement and water surface disturbance I would think you could most likely DITCH the air pump and airstones AS LONG as you use a 1/10 HP water chiller to keep it a consistent 65-67*F so that you can maximize the waters ability to HOLD more Dissolved Oxygen.

The difference in dissolved oxygen at 67 and 77 aren't too far off lol

And max plant growth occurs around 70 72 degrees in the root zone .

More people have flow problems rather then lack of dissolved o2

Just in my humble opinion:)

So me, trying to get my temps from 71 to 68 is futile LOL? What about preventing slime and other root issues? I've been reading that 66 - 68 is ideal.
