in this photo is everything i cut off both plants,, the cutting on the left almost looks like a plant itself,,, and yet these clones were only about 6 to 8 inches tall, space kitties lost about half her mass,,
according to nug buckets, the fan leaves below should be left on until they recover, and until the next topping,, IMG_1470.JPG

I have always wanted to try mainlining, and i just now felt i had the skills to perform it,
2 things i hope mainlining helps me with,, 1 , shorter plants,, i have limitied head room,, and 2 , longer veg time for bigger stalks and truck, 3,, less sucker branches due to the SIP? ( this is a debated topic) 4,, less larf and more cola

if it succeds great,,, if it doesnt hold up to previous grows,, no biggie,, my stash pile is massive , i was temped to not even grow this winter,, but i enjoy it,, and trying mainlining is providing some "fun" if you will

space kittles has a very even node structure,, she really looks like she was grown from seed,, the nodes are perfectly even,, she must be a young mother plant?

Jack Herer in the upcoming picture surely is from an old mother, the nodes are far apart, So to follow nug buckets instructions i had to some some super cropping and bend the main stem to even out the left and right side growth on the manifold,,,

Oh man...once you mainline a plant, you'll always mainline your plants. Nothing like 8+ colas growing nice and tall. I'm in a small tent too (3x3x6) and have the same limitations. Just keep lower part of your plants trimmed and clean and you'll be nicely rewarded. I currently have a Querkle I'm training with 12 colas so excited to flip to flower!

Ya Bro thats what i am talking about, rock it, I was thinking about leaving the new tops under the main Y split like you have to make more cola's with a little bit less veg time,, more like an LST/ mainline?,,

Yes, after my first cut, I let the two branches grow out to three nodes then simply cut the 2nd node growth off. A little extra training is giving me some extra top growth at the end for even more colas. Saves a week or so doing it this way over the Nugbuckets way.

agreed,, I am going to greatly consider your method,, i can see it on the plant, all the tops on your plant and mine are completely exposed to the light path now as well

Hey every one, hows it going today here we go,, both plants are topped for 4 ,, its easy to see now,,, and i have WATER ROOTS<<, with the new sip i can see into the res,, no wonder they are starting to Blow up
look how big the main stalk is getting , and I have not even allowed them to rise up yet,, still flat, hahah
the fan leaves left from node 1 and 2 will be clipped as soon as the 4 tops have developed a little bit more
