Dwc drooping leaves

Please help this is my first DWC grow and i have 5 5galon buckets with airpump and airstones im a 3x3x5 tent with ambient temp at 75-80 and water temp consistantly at around 70 degrees. I use a 300 watt led. I use only calmag and small amount of sensi grow nitrogen. This is week 2 of having them in my dwc system and have the ppms sitting at about 600 also ph stays from 5.5- 6.0...i am experiencing drooping fan leaves on 3 out of 5 plants and until now they have been growing great and rapidly..the netpot are 6" and the roots are pretty well oit of the water..i dropped the water level to where the longest roots are about a half inch in the water and i top feed res water twice a day. Im not sure if its over or underwatering and i dont wamt my sexy ladues to die...any advice would be greatly apreciated

At that size theres no need to be top feeding. I just started into dwc myself but have found if you have the water a little above the bottom of your net pot, enough water gets pulled into the lower clay pellets for them to root down into the water. Once theyre in you can lower the water level a bit. If i understand correctly your continuing to lower the water after the roots have grown into it a bit. Thats not necessary. You should be letting the roots grow submerged.. In dwc theres no such thing as overwatering, but there is the possibility of under aerating the water. Overwatering in soil is caused because the roots cant get o2. Thats why you have the bubbler in dwc to aerate the water so theres plenty of oxygen in the water itself.

Thanks they were some decent clones that ive nursed back to health and i keep my water level about 2 inches below the net pot, i had lowered it thinking they weremt getting enough oxygen...the plamts have been looking a lot better but i believe i may have some early stages of root rot now..not sure completely but i was getting some algae possible nutrient build up or some shit. The room temp stays around 75 and the water around 70 so idk but i am hoping its not damn root rot

Now that i look closer the plant seems a bit stretched to me. Got the light close enough?

What are your air pumps rated at in liters per hour or whatever, and how many gallons do you actually have in each bucket? Could be the pumps arent good enough. Are the buckets blacked out? If the roots feel slimy its probably root rot. I have nute staining on my roots all the time from the nutes i use(gh floranova bloom) , so thats a possibility. If its root rot, and really also if its not, you should get a bottle of hydroguard. Res temps can get up to 78 and a bit higher with that stuff no worries. Its good bacteria that eat any algae and dead roots and pathogens in the res and turn them back into usable nutes. At 70 degrees though i doubt youd see root rot unless there wasnt enough dissolved oxygen in the water. I keep my res at 65 and use hydroguard as a precaution.

My air. Pump bubbles 3804 gph is what it says..its probably just some other algae from light but it stains my roots and could just be nutrient build up. Im gonna get some hydroguard though and see how that works. Thanks bro

No problem

That pump seems like plenty to me, if not overkill. So i doubt its that theres not enough dissolved oxygen.
