I'm using the MG 6 month feed lol that's what I have around here that I could find at the time. I've found some pro-mix 3 month feed or their organic 6 month feed since then, think either of those would be better? And I probably did lol they just slowed growth down really bad so I thought they were hungry, they took off after I fed them so idk? The one is from some Reggie so I know the strain will be pretty sensitive to bottle nutes probably. And yea sorry about the lights guys lol there's a few pics earlier in the thread that are under normal light and yes my Reggie plant is very deep green xD my other plant not so much, it's loving life right now :D here's a pic of the regg plant under normal light from a few days ago. I'll have to get new pics later today of them both. Also I was gonna go ahead and chop the fan leaves off since the new growth leaves are big enough and another member said I probably should. Whatcha guys think?

A lot of good info above. I haven't used pro mix but you should find others on this forum who do and like it. I have used the ffof and like it but IDK if you have access. It is a good new grower soil that can be a water only grow for the 1st month. You are on your way to big improvements in your grow when you get a good soil. Any problems you are having in the MG are going to be hard to fix because of the time release ferts IMO.

Well I just found a hydro store that carries the ff soils. :D and yea you should see my plants before xD the one didn't suffer as bad I don't think because I picked out the fert balls lol I didn't even think about it on the first plant

IMG_0870.JPG IMG_0871.JPG Hey guys, any of you ever done a dwc grow? I'm doing one and it seems to be pretty sensitive to the light compared to my soil plants, the leave are curling up at the edges. Will these leaves recover? I moved the bucket away from my light a bit so it's not directly under the light now. It's 37" away from my led and the fan leaves look like they are stretching too? It's a 5gal with 6in netpot, I'm running distilled water that reads 8ppm out the jug, i keep it phd at 5.8-6.1. Small dose of nutes ppm is 53 with nutes. Rez temp stays around 75-78f. Just lowered the water level an inch under pot a few days ago because a root was coming through.

Greetings. You got to feed it bro. Dwc runs faster than soils. pH will swing daily. If they are stretching, move light closer.

Following along.. I'm still new myself but I wouldn't just go ramping it up by hundreds of ppm, it's all dependent on the size of the plant and particular strain. Make gradual increments when it comes to figuring how much food your plant needs. Take note of how much ppm and of what that was given and keep an eye on the leaves for the next several days than go from there. Plants in DWC do generally require more food than soil and coco. Makes sense lol it's a reggie strain so I figured it'd be sensitive to nutes so I started really low lol it's about time for a Rez change anyways. I'll put it up to 125-150 ppm or so later tonight

Greetings, now days most Reggie starts as high end sativa clones , before the fields get pollinated by lax workers. Even old school brick pack from seed would have a lotto chance to pull good genetics out.

As far as ppms go, me, I: by day 20 have seedlings in 650-700 ppm of 5-15-14+ and 200 ppm of that is ca:mg. You go by what you see. Dwc can be unforgiving if you ignore it. Changes show in 3 days vs 7 for soils and soilless.

Good info thanks! So underfeeding it is probably causing the edges of the leafs to fold in? I have another plant in soil and the new growth is doing the same thing, I moved the light away a couple days ago and the leaves haven't recovered yet. Here's a pic of a branch that I accidentally snapped off trying to tie it down :( cloning it now lol I read a potassium deficiency can cause this, what do you think?IMG_0896.JPG IMG_0898.JPG

To me that 'canoeing' looks like over water and heat issues possibly from light.

Yes those crispy ones do look like pk def. K specifically.

You need a feed schedule ASAP. All this flushing is causing more issues.

The pix I saw up there look N, K and Mg def already.

IMO, you need to bump ppms a little and maybe some liquid seaweed for auxins and cytokinins love.

Again up to you, just do more research on the topic and make a call. ;-)

It's definitely not the light, I used my 450w led from seedling on, just make sure at this stage it's 24-30 inches away, when you plants hit veg keep it around 20 inches

*** Unless your using a bad boy, then you may want to go higher. .. ha... Higher

Lights to close. Its a tiny seedling it only needs a few watts of energy. Get it to 30 inches or more.

Problems with seedlings are normally.
1. To much light.
2. To much Nutrients.
3. Over watering.

Knowing this, Have the light high (a seedling will grow with a 23 w CFL for fks sake.) Under feed you plants. You can always feed more. Only water when it needs it.

In other words stop over loving your plants. Let em do their thing.

I could be wrong but from what I've read I'm good with temp, humidity, and watering. I'll wait till the soil is at dry at least 2in deep and pot is pretty much as light as it was before I watered the first time. It's on the same feeding schedule as my other reggie plant that is showing some signs of too much nutes(waxy leaves and deep green color) and they're at "seedling dosage" so I'll have to mix up each plants nutes separately I guess lol I'm doing a Rez change here in a bit and I'll up my ppm. Think I'd benefit from using voodoo juice now? It says use once in week one of "grow" phase and again in week 2 of "grow" phase lol that means veg stage I'm guessing?

A plant should not need any feed (apart from small amounts of water) in the first two or three weeks from sprout if your in soil.
