Do people usually wash their bud before drying them? Do you trim and dry right the way or trim wash dry and cure?

Is that a real question? Or you talking water curing?

I dry then trim, works better for me and the product. I don't wet trim anymore, too much scissor hash for me.

The only reason I could fathom someone would "wash" their buds is to rid the plant of pests/pathogens/residues. You'll reduce potency and smell by doing this so it should only be done in extreme circumstances.

Aside from keeping the plants clean and stomata open while growing, when harvesting I trim large fans only and hang whole plants or branches depending on season. Then I dry trim and jar for curing. I find this is the best way to protect the trichs/terps

Roughly handled wet trimmed bud doesn't hold the same smell and flavor...sometimes even smelling of wet hay.

Ah ok. For that I use pre filters and in room ionic air cleaner. Just call it organic bud. ;-)

I wouldn't water cure for sheet. To much time and effort involved in the grow to drown buds untill smell disappears.

No fans going? There's so much dust that you feel you'll need to wash them? If good air circulation along with a few foliars up til week 1-2 of flip isn't enough maybe you should consider some type of air filters.
Far too much time and effort goes into growing good genetics to just wash it all away in one day.
