I have a 98 civic sitting in the barn.I've owned it for over 15 years.140,000 miles with way more to go.gets close to 40 mpg.I haven't drove it in almost a year but it would start right up.I've put some money into it in the past, but it would pass inspection today.nice buy

Nice , I just bought a 2014 Dodge Avenger...I know I know, Dodge sucks n yea yea yea...but it rides really smooth n the engine is strong with smooth shifting so I can't complain yet, but the main reason I bought it is cause it doesn't look like every other car on the road they all look the same to me, like a jelly bean

I had a magnum and eventually hated the thing it was just so poorly made everything on it was plastic.. But it did get me and my quad to Florida twice so I gotta give it that. Was never a fan of how boxy dodge got after that.. They just got back to sleek lines I think the new durangos are pretty bad ass

That and the Subaru Forester used to trade the title of JD Power & Associates 'most reliable car sold in America' back and forth.
Take good care of it and she'll never fail you. You can only hope your girl does the same!

I my wife has a early second gen CRV. It has what seem like some serous problems but they haven't gotten much worse in the last 20K-40K. I want to get rid of this one, but I'd be happy with a different CRV, even the same year and mileage.
I will say, it's a remarkably unremarkable vehicle. Handling: not bad but not good Acceleration: what you need but no fun, Shit you can jam in it space: pretty good, but not spectacular, a minivan is way better AWD: it's not a Subaru, but it's boring driving in the snow (maybe good?) Look: invisible, wife drove around with an expired registration and a tail light out for 3 months, inspection guy did me a solid and told me to go fix those things and come back.
So yeah, meh car, but meh to the max of meh which makes it pretty alright.
I think your's is too new for the tire on the back, but I got rear ended in it, other guy's accord was messed up, the CRV i wish was totalled, no problems. The back door feels a little different, but works fine.

There are a couple what I would call "design flaws" but overall it feels solid I can see it makin 150-200kmiles no problem (knock on wood)

Regular oil changes, regular maintenence, no dukes of Hazzard style driving, it'll last you 200K+. 200K boring, soulless miles..... it is a CRV after all.
The hub got 500k on his 84 Accord before he crushed it. Now he's about 250 in on his 94 Accord and we are pulling the engine and it should be good for roughly 200k more.
