Is growing over 85 degrees very detrimental to cannabis?

hey y'all, I have a stealthy LED PC grow going on and sometimes my temps go above 85, but never get up to 90. I read in High Times that anything above 85 degrees dramatically drops the the amount of photosynthesis that happens. Is it THAT big of a deal? I have my PC right next to the AC Unit, but I'm still at 86. I was even wanting to install another 50 True-watt UFO LED a long with the other same exact one. Stealth is a need as well I live in and old small apartment in an triplex. It was from and old old house that was redone to have three apartments. Below are some pics

I am just a noob here but from everything I've read you want to keep your typical grow below 78 degrees. You also want to make sure that you have adequate ventilation so you can keep replacing the CO2 in the air . If you want to have higher temperatures you will need CO2 to help them grow. Some strains are also heat resistant.

it wont be to you, but to some of us.....avoiding anything that dramatically drops the amount of photosynthesis is paramount.

your plant will grow to its weakest resource. you choose what that is.

I've ran clones 100° to harvest and same strain at 70..

Still dank still dense still yielded about the same.

I'm not saying it doesn't matter. Just if transpiration is higher , lower ec/ppm and use more water..

Or whetever ..you'll adjust based on medium and environment.

As far as the photosynthesis thing and temp that actually has alot to do with co2 levels. You in the city? You indoors etc

If anything above 85 degrees screwed with photosynthesis then the entire South Eastern United States would be a desert.

I don't know who told you that, but they're completely full of shit.

its about the available resources. Outdoors provides all of the necessary ones, indoors rarely. High temps=faster metabolism=higher demands like water, food, and c02, when those are in order high temps aint shit. but a cat that cant control temps prolly doesnt have the other resources standing by either

Just make sure you have a air flow and should be fine exhaust. Small space like you will have plenty of co2

No it is important to me, I was just wondering if that was true. Obviously I have my hands tied because of where I'm growing, but I want to get the best that's possible.

then cool your space to a temperature that doesnt sacrifice photosynthesis for best results

your buds may or may not (depending on the strain)
grow slightly less dense
but its marginal

my room rarely gets below 80

I would try and keep it under or at 85 if you can

Mine are at 95 Degrees every day when I overload the CO2...day 23 pic... Just saying it can be done.. Well

Thanks everyone for the advice!!!

I still want to stick with my PC because I'm stubborn and have spent so much time perfecting that it would feel like everything was in vain. I have been talking to my girlfriend about getting a small tent, and yesterday I saw through my neighbors window that he had a grow tent. I think that helped convince her.

With something that small you could use DIY CO2 generator maybe cost $8... But i would worry more about the RH being %16. That was at 79, if you're saying it's getting to 85 then the RH is probably close to 12-13% which is way too low.. You need some wet towels in there at the very least. Try to get that thing at least into the 30s or 40s if you can

Just curious, what's your RH get to when it's that high? Do you have a humidifier?
