Thats exactly what we're doing. I'd skip the pine needles lol but yeah man. Cannabis is an annual, you could grow it right along with your vegetables. Basil and rosemary actually make great companion plants for cannabis.That all makes sense.
I've had experience in the past mixing my own soils, but it was always with the intention I'd be feeding them nutes, so this way seems easier.
If I'm understanding right, what y'all are basically doing, is what used to do for my outdoor vegtible gardens. We had a huge pile of manure composting, then we'd mix some other stuff in then top dress with chicken shit and pine needles. Always had big tomatoes and peppers!
