I honestly believe that UB and a few others are paid trolls, they call names and do these heinous things so that no real political discussion can take place on this and other sites. they are paid political operatives. Probably by media matters/Goerge Soros.
yep, huge jewish conspiracy.

@Flaming Pie didn't you say trump lovers weren't just a bunch of racist anti-semites who admire hitler?

Actually, we've sunk so low in our "news" stations that Fox won a case where the judge ruled they did not have to publish facts. In fact, they can knowingly publish falsehoods, otherwise known as lies.

CMW REPORT, Spring 2003
Title: “Court Ruled That Media Can Legally Lie”
Author: Liane Casten

ORGANIC CONSUMER ASSOCIATION, March 7, 2004
Title: “Florida Appeals Court Orders Akre-Wilson Must Pay Trial Costs for $24.3 Billion Fox Television; Couple Warns Journalists of Danger to Free Speech, Whistle Blower Protection”

The heart of the article is pasted below:

Second District Court of Appeals unanimously overturned the settlement awarded to Akre. The Court held that Akre’s threat to report the station’s actions to the FCC did not deserve protection under Florida’s whistle blower statute, because Florida’s whistle blower law states that an employer must violate an adopted “law, rule, or regulation.” In a stunningly narrow interpretation of FCC rules, the Florida Appeals court claimed that the FCC policy against falsification of the news does not rise to the level of a “law, rule, or regulation,” it was simply a “policy.” Therefore, it is up to the station whether or not it wants to report honestly.

During their appeal, FOX asserted that there are no written rules against distorting news in the media. They argued that, under the First Amendment, broadcasters have the right to lie or deliberately distort news reports on public airwaves.
I'm still in shock about these rulings.

If we can't depend on news organizations to give us facts- slanted or biased, but at least factual information- then we can't make rational judgements about our country or its leaders.

That is of course the goal, isn't it?

by "conservative views" do you mean calling obama a "halfrican"?

or trying to advance the racist birther conspiracy?

or saying that civil rights will just make you "hate 'em more now"?

or saying that civil rights is rape and slavery of white people?

or saying that gay americans are not deserving of equal rights?

or saying that victims of rape should be forced to carry their rapist's baby?

just want to be clear on which "conservative views" are not worthy of derision and vilification.
You can't call any of this worthy of derision. It's "policy".
