Lady luck hates me.

Just can't seem to get a break. Last year everything was looking set for a nice harvest when I heard noises outside and looked out the window to see a chimney sweeper looking down into my garden from the neighbours roof. Chopped them down immediately about 3 weeks early just to be safe. Was gutted but vowed to do better this year. Saved all my pennies and got a 4x4 homebox tent with a 600w cob light and an isomax silenced fan with carbon filter. I have spent thousands getting setup with the best gear available where I live hoping for results. I am a pretty quiet guy and don't know anyone I could get any cuts from so I just popped about 15 bagseed I had picked out of bags of mystery weed. I ended up with 7 decent looking plants that I have been growing out for about 2 1/2 months. They were looking awesome and smelling really good too so I flipped to 12/12 2 weeks ago and out of my seven plants I have invested all this time and money into I am left with one female and 6 boys. Pretty depressing stuff. I have ordered some proper genetics from a seed bank but until they get here (if at all). I will finish flowering my one lonely lady of dubious origins in hope of something smokeable. Just sharing my sorry tale with you all.

If you dont mind me asking which seed company did you choose to go with? I am out of Michigan are you anywhere close by chance like in the state is what I am asking not a location lol. I wish you great success in the future!

Take clones as soon as you see its female then you wont have that problem again. Just need a CFL to keep them going while other plant flower.
Or if you only have single light take clones and switch it back to reveg. By time it starts vegging again clones will be rooted.

I ended up going with seedsman. got some good freebies. I'm from New Zealand . Not legal here stupidly.

Ten years ago 8 of 12 femenized Hash Plant seeds from Holland were males... The four females were cool they grew colas that looks like Rhino horns.

I hate it when the surveying cures are working, they've found a few grows I might have planted lol.

I was on here a couple days a go and someone mentioned a technique , I haven't tried it so I'm just repeating it, of using a piece of duct tape to cover just one node site for 3/4 days and it will show sex ,I don't know if it works but I plan to try it on my next seed grow.

When my light/tent, other goodies turned up I wanted to get started with something straight away. I had also read somewhere to practice with cheap bagseed for the first run to get used to the setup before dropping cash on good seeds. Seemed to make sense to me at the time. Took me a while to figure out how to do the whole bitcoin thing too. When I tried to pay using my bank it just wouldn't work so I had to figure it out. Hopefully my order gets to me soon. I got some blueberry, white widow, skunk no1, neville's haze and a few other goodies. Cant wait.

Mostly fems but I did get some WW regs and a 10 pack of narkush regs as well for when I get bored or want to throw a few outside. I will be doing only fem seeds for my next try at this malarkey. Not giving up!

Chap that jumps up on your roof with a big brush on a pole and cleans all the buildup out of your chimney so its safe to light your fireplace.
